Go Public: A Day in the Life of an American School District is a documentary film project where 50 filmmakers followed 50 subjects for one entire day, sun up to sun down, on 28 campuses in the Pasadena Unified School District. The mission of the film was to take people behind the doors of public school to capture an accurate and honest snapshot of an American public school district - both the inspirations and the challenges. The film documents the many dedicated people, the myriad of opportunities available and the complexity of serving the needs of all students in this racially and economically diverse community.
