From Milan, Italy, comes a new psychedelic act - five Italians, one Swede - that thankfully avoids embarrassing, cliché drones and big, rock poses.
The Quincey, complete with organ and vintage electronics, churn out crunchy, vintage psychedelic pop-rock inspired by a wide variety of music styles, but lately mostly Latin and South American folk and psych from the 60's.
The band writes original and fully-formed songs with catchy hooks as well as vocal enquiries into utopian societies, heartache and general late night debauchery.
In 2014 the band released a five track EP produced by Dumbo Gets Mad, who's LP Elephant's at the door got rave reviews and yielded comparison to Todd Rundgren.
In July 2015 is the release date for the single Make It Right, accompanied by a video and interactive world by Los Angeles based artist Vinyl Williams, a fellow musician and video maker who creates mythical 3-D imagery exploding with color and power.
