BBC Media Action has been actively working in Ethiopia, offering trustworthy and reliable information that fosters the well-being of communities. Additionally, we have been dedicated to enhancing the capabilities of local media outlets and journalists who serve the public interest. We are currently collaborating with the European Union (EU) on digital media literacy (DML) and conflict-sensitive reporting projects.
BBC Media Action is also working with partners International Media Support, Media Development Investment Fund, and Article 19 to deliver the FCDO-funded Protecting Independent Media for Effective Development (PRIMED) initiative, aiming to increase the sustainability of a range of media organisations and support public-interest media across the country.
