Founded in San Francisco, California, on June 19, 2020, The Tabula Rasa Record Company was founded by Jozef White and later co-headed with RamonPang, who had met via shared love of bay area hip-hop, future garage, leftfield EDM, and esoteric Soundcloud oddities.
Tabula Rasa has thrown sold out events in San Francisco, Los Angeles and New York. In particular, the ‘Here & Now’ compilation release party in New York was lauded both for open-minded approach to genre. In San Francisco, the group hosted a show with Villager (fka Alex Young) in collaboration with rave aficionados Vitamin1000, subsequently followed by label-head RamonPang playing with Skrillex, Jyoty and Skin on Skin at a Portola Festival afterparty.
