The death of a loved one and the grief that follows is one of the hardest experiences we as human beings can go through. How you deal with it will different than someone else. Grief is incredibly hard to experience and it can be harder to know what to say to someone to counteract their grief making it so much more important to remind those who are grieving that is okay and provide them with hope inspite of their pain.
