I’m going through a really tough time right now. The recent news about the brutal rape and murder of a doctor in Kolkata has left me feeling incredibly stressed and anxious. I had a conversation with my mother about how I'm not feeling well. I can’t even explain the kind of pain and distress I’m experiencing.
This case has made me feel different—like I’m in a constant state of fear and trauma. I want to trust people, but this news has shaken me so much that I find it hard to trust anyone, even though I want to. Every time I open my phone and see updates about this case, I feel scared and overwhelmed. It’s affecting my ability to concentrate on my studies; the same troubling thoughts keep running through my mind.
I’ve been feeling ill without any clear reason, and I can’t fully express what’s going on inside me. I keep overthinking about past events, like when I was in Shimla, and wondering what if something like this had happened to me back then.
I don’t know what’s happening with me, but I’m not feeling well at all. I hope to continue with my studies from tomorrow, but right now, the news and this case have left me with a lot of anxiety and mental strain. There’s so much more I want to say, but I’m struggling to explain it all. This is my current state.

I'm deeply saddened🥺 and outraged by the tragic loss of so many students at Rau's IAS in Old Rajendra Nagar, Delhi, due to the recent floods. These aspirants came here with the hope of becoming officers, dedicating their lives to serving the nation. Instead, they faced an unimaginable disaster. What did they receive in return? Who is responsible for their safety, and where are the authorities⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️
The coaching mafias are merely exploiting students for their fees. When natural calamities strike, there are no safety provisions or measures in place by these coaching centers. They only care about collecting fees; student safety is not their priority. This negligence is unacceptable.
We must demand justice for these students and their families. It is crucial to hold these institutes accountable for their lack of safety measures. Coaching centers must be regulated and mandated to implement proper safety protocols to prevent such tragedies in the future.
Just recently, another aspirant died due to electrocution during heavy rains. This should not be happening in a place where students come to build their futures.
God knows how the families manage to pay the fees and bear the expenses, all in the hope of providing better education for their children. What is happening in our country? These families sacrifice so much for their children's education, and yet their hopes and dreams are crushed due to such negligence.
We need to raise our voices and demand immediate action from the authorities. The lives of these young aspirants matter, and we cannot allow such negligence to continue. Our future officers deserve more than this. They deserve a safe environment to pursue their dreams.
My heartfelt condolences go out to the families affected by this tragedy. We must ensure that their loss is not in vain and that steps are taken to prevent such incidents in the future. We need justice, and we need it now.
