I grew up on a dairy farm in the Thumb of Michigan. I went to college and studied elementary education. I taught for Yale Public Schools for 28 years. I retired from teaching in June of 2020 and went back to working on our family farm. We no longer run a dairy farm, but we farm about 2,000 acres and grow wheat, corn, soybeans and sugar beets. I live on our own 40 acre farm with my husband. We have 4 children. I have a hobby of raising chickens and recently taught myself how to sew. I repurpose my chickens’ feed bags and friends save their feed bags for me, as well. I currently make shopping bags and aprons from the feed bags. I am truly blessed and thank God daily for this life I have been given ❤️✝️
