So many don't know it but not only do I run Home Theater Gurus but I design over 100 theaters a year and I'm also a dealer for most of what I use in my designs. For Ceida 2025 (Home Theater Gurus Design) was asked by Next Level Acoustics to design the layout and acoustic plan for their demo room, Sound Room 11. This Room was sponsored by Lumagen.
Well the room ended up Winning AVS “BEST IN SHOW”. Yeah it was that good and cost far less than what we were up against. Ohh and we had to do a solid screen which wasn’t ideal. The room was a 9.4.6 but with arrays so each row had proper placement and some of my tricks I use in my rooms.
The review in the pic is from Jacob Atkinson whom before this week I didn’t know. The Cedia award was from the current AVS editor in chief who of course also scored it the same.

Hey Guys.. someone mentioned they didn't think the level adjustment did anything. They were quite wrong. I always forget something in my video's and meant to show this. This is what happens if you don't do the level adjustment. As you can see what ARC shows is absolutely what you'll measure. In this room we had a huge increase past the target which was very fatiguing. Simply adjusting the level as shown in the video and we get the bottom. You must pay attention to the non eq'd response and level it. it is not leveled by default. Just doing this one thing can be drastic. https://youtu.be/tDlFmBs8S0Y
