About
I started playing the ‘ukulele a few years ago. As a teen I bought my first guitar, on which I played simple accompaniments for the songs I sang. I didn’t play that much, though, because I focused on classical singing and choral conducting. Later I performed also as a storyteller and puppeteer, and I bought my first uke, just for fun. I couldn’t really play the uke at that time. But playing piano and guitar proved a little hard on my hands and I played for a while on the little harp I own for years. After that I rediscovered my uke, because it’s easier to travel with, and now I’m working seriously on technique and interpretation of songs. But the best thing is, that it brings me lots of fun!
