XRF is a non-destructive analytical technique used to determine the elemental composition of materials. Handheld XRF analyzers work by measuring the fluorescent (or secondary) X-rays emitted from a sample when excited by a primary X-Ray source . These XRF analyzers start at about $17,500 to own, but if you take your jewelry to someone who owns one they will usually test for free or around $30.

In about 2 1/2 to 3 months I’ll be having a 14k 8mm 18 inch Miami Cuban with sleek lock coming in from Daniel Jewelry Inc . I’ll do an unboxing and review on it. I will also show it next to the 24k Miami.
Update on the 24k Cuban: the sleek lock lost its tension and the chain can’t be slept in because of the lock. The links look great with some scuffs etc after wearing day and night for 2 months or so. Love the character 24k adds over time.
My 24k Anchor chain from 99.99 jewelry I’ve been daily wearing and it’s held up amazingly . I slide it off my head before bed at night . When it comes to high karat jewelry, jewelers from Asia tend to have more experience with it and have incredible craftsmanship with 22k + . I’d like to add that my 23k bracelet is doing wonderfully and I’ve worn it day and night for over 4 months now . I have not taken it off. It is from Thailand.
I do miss the durability of my 10k Miami Cuban. I could throw that thing around - roll in the sand , go swimming in the ocean without worrying about a thing in regards to the chain. My brother is enjoying it!
