At Gordon-Pymble Uniting Church we believe that all persons are created in the image of God and are therefore entitled to love and respect. We celebrate unity in diversity, which has been one of the building blocks of the Uniting Church in Australia. In response to God’s love and reconciliation we endeavour to build a community that is inclusive and welcoming, through our worship, friendship and activities.
As an inclusive church, we welcome people irrespective of age, race, culture, gender, sexual orientation, marital status, theology, ability or socio-economic state etc. We seek to follow the example of Jesus Christ who reached out to the people of his day, calling all into community. In seeking to understand God’s call to love better, we aim to create a positive environment where all people are nurtured and encouraged to discover their gifts and talents, and to find new ways to use them in the service of God and His world and its people.
