The great mental models - Volume 3 is a book that came highly recommended, and I indeed enjoyed reading (rather listening to) during my long autumn walks, and boy it delivered.
I loved going through the power of various Mental Models in the book which, in my summary -for โ๏ธ Guild Members- I converted into cloud related examples: Imagine, for example, connecting services in AWS - it's much like running a city. Your EC2 instances are skyscrapers, bustling with activity. Your data flows through the veins of this city, the vast network. However, when you deploy a Lambda function, it's akin to having an apartment that springs into existence only when it's needed and disappears afterward. These are our models which simplify the city-plan, enabling you to be an excellent city planner.
