I'm going to pull back the curtain a little. As a "sick" youtuber I really appreciate how many of you are planning to make an extra effort to support ALL migraineurs by attending this live, and that is NOT an exaggeration. Creators with health issues can't be consistent, so our posts don't show up on feeds as much. Then when they DO show up and people don't click/watch/attend events about migraine... youtube doesn't think migraine is prevalent or important. That's NOT what's happening! The truth is that we're all just very, very sick. Too sick to play nice with the algorithm - the creator AND the viewer!
I love and appreciate how we are all making an effort to show up for each other and keep rippling migraine awareness into the internet. Even clicking "like" or leaving a "hello" spreads the word about migraine (I'm talking about ALL creators not just me and not just this post!). You are a kind group of fellow warriors who understands how raw and messy chronic illness life can be. I hope we all leave this live feeling empowered and encouraged, and learn a lot from each other! Hitting your Fri-yay with the BEST news: Service Dog Buddy's grade 2 TUMOR WAS BENIGN!!!! It was a hair follicle tumor (those exist...??!!!) and it was completely removed. ๐๐
As for me... exhausted ๐ฎโ๐จ๐

*Dr. Phil Show Q & A is posting next week!* It's sooooo close to done, but I want to take the time to add photos for you, and a little migraine jen makeup B roll. Until I can get that polished, here's a peek of us at Paramount Studios the morning of the show!
No video today; I got "regular" sick this week and didn't have a babysitter to help with the babies. Don't worry though, it stayed mild and I'm feeling better today! (I listened to my body and rested when I felt sickness coming on for once... gasp. 10/10 highly recommend.)

Hey guys, welcome! I'm Jen, happily married mama to two little girls and service dog Buddy. I am a suspected CSF leaker with diagnosed hypermobility and high cranial pressure (IIH), chronic complex migraine with multiple aura, POTS/dysautonomia, orthostatic hypotension, and Raynaud's. I am disabled daily by these conditions, but Iย don't always "look" nor "act" sick.
On this channel, I'm spreading awareness about DIFFERENT types of disability... they don't all look the same! I'm also dropping info, sharing my tips, and generally going about normal life... proving by example that you can live happily with chronic illness. I hope you enjoy learning a bit about what it's like to live in my strange shoes.
BTW, nothing here is medical advice. I have a degree in biochemistry but not in medicine! My channel is anecdotal and meant to help you find areas to do more of your OWN research. Always talk to your doctor.
