Church structure is one of the most important factors that affect how a church functions. We can plan to take the gospel to the nations, but if we don't have a healthy culture around structure the progress will be short-lived. Whether it is a local congregation or worldwide organization, healthy structure is the key to longevity and transformation. However, it is necessary to discuss philosophies that are problematic without being rude or demeaning. It is important to remember there is no perfect church or organization in the world as we lean into this discussion.
