WELLLL, bet you’ve all heard about the SUPER exciting Synthesizer V Teto news, I still can’t believe it!! Our daughter is growing so much!!
Alright, so. I know this is a question that’ll be brought up, so I thought I’d address it directly:
If anyone’s wondering, NO, I’m not gonna make a SynthV version of Song of Eared Robot. I’m more than happy with my cover, I never made it to sound ”realistic” or anything like that, i just wanted to make it very… ”me”, or something like that I guess. I wanted to make a simple, clear cover using Teto’s normal VCV voicebank, with my own personal tuning. And I feel like I succeded ❤ Besides, in my opinion, nothing can ever beat the original, and is still the superior version! Mimirobo is a true genius, you should really check out their other work too.
Don’t be sad, though! I *am* gonna get my hands on SV Teto, but I’m also not gonna stop using UTAU Teto either. I already got tons of plans and ideas for covers for both of them, so stay tuned 😎✨
Lastly, once again, thank you for all the love for my cover. It’s crazy to think it’s already been 5 years, and I’m happy it has managed to touch so many people during them, and hopefully will keep doing so in the future too ❤

And yes, I am still alive. Sadly my laptop got damaged a while ago, which is mostly why I haven’t made anything else after Song of Eared Robot. (I can’t believe it’s been 5 years already??) I’ve been borrowing my girlfriend’s computer every now and then and started a couple projects in UTAU, but since it’s a Windows computer I can’t mix in GarageBand/Logic which is my go-to. So that sucks.
BUT! I do have a few finished stuff from a couple of years ago that I finished before my computer gave up, and I’ve been contemplaiting if they’re good enough to publish or not a while now. So you MIGHT be seeing some of that at least soon enough!
Hopefully, I’ll be getting myself a new computer in the near future, depending on my economic situation. So yeah, I’m not giving up UTAU yet!
