I started a boxing career at 18 by first training two months before to Southern New England golden gloves in 1994 which I won the finals with a 40 sec. first round knockout. One year later, I ended up breaking my Jaw keeping me out of the sport for about a year, then in 1996 I competed again, first winning the NEABF Tournament, then the SNEGG, then the NEGG and then making it to the quarterfinals of the national GG. After only 15 amateur fights I decided to start my professional boxing career, starting off with a draw in my pro debut, my next 17 fights were all won by the way of KO. I had a final career record of 31-3-2 (26 KOโs). I won three titles, the USBF, the EBA, and the IBU world lightweight title. I appeared on national TV twelve times. I starred in realty TV show โTHE CONTENDERโ โseason 2โ! I have had 36 professional fights and was lucky enough, to have never been knocked out. I had an extremely exciting career and I still have a few marbles left!
