Just some clarification on my recent video.
The response to my last video was so unexpected and I guess I don't know how to feel about it. On one hand I never really understood or comprehended the impact the "Yoe Mase" project had on people. On the other hand I don't want everyone to think I've thrown in the towel and plan to dissolve into the ether.
I don't plan to stop being creative.
The truth is, I want to pursue different creative outlets.
I want to create a new music artist project that I explained a couple weeks back (on X/Twitter). More classic dance music related stuff.
Additionally, I want to pursue photography, video, video editing. I want to create a compelling YouTube channel.
Creatively, there is so much for me to pursue, and I don't want to be beholden to one thing my entire life.
Does that mean I'll absolutely never ever go back to 'Yoe Mase' stuff? No. But my plan right now is to put it to rest for the foreseeable future. For the first time since I've started, I have nothing in the works for the project. And I need to let it go.
I hope that clarifies things a bit
