To anyone who has ever enjoyed our music here on Youtube:
I don't know if anyone reads these posts but I thought we'd share that our new album Versions Of Us is out now. This album almost didn't exist and we came dangerously close to calling it a day.
This album almost didn’t exist, after a year of work we’d blown our budget and missed our deadline… we nearly called it a day but we believed in these songs and instead decided to push o stripping everything back to the bare bones we started again and remade the album in such a short space of time, which brought an energy and urgency to the music that changed the destiny of this record.

We are incredibly excited to share another new song with you today. This is String Theory.
This song had something magic about it when we were writing and recording it and we've been looking forward to sharing it with the world.
The song itself is about taking solace in the multiverse theory - that out there exists a more fully realised version of yourself and your life where things turned out differently.

On a cold weekend in January we got together in an Old Church hall in Northumberland to play some songs. Here is 'The Likes Of Us' from that session.

We're back. Today we are very proud to announce that our new album Versions of Us is out 2nd June on Bella Union. There's a lot to say about this album and the journey it / we went on whilst working on it. I'm sure we'll talk more about that in the coming weeks and months.
This record is probably the one we are most proud of. But it is the one that truth be told, almost didn’t see the light of day. We are so grateful to Philip Selway (who can usually be found behind the kit with Radiohead) for stepping in on drum duties on this album. Philip came in during a dark time for us and pulled us out the other side.
Our first single 'The Likes Of Us' made it's debut on Lauren Laverne's BBC Radio 6 Music show this morning. You can stream/ download/ view the single in all the usual places. ffm.to/thelikesofus
Check out the visualiser for the new single on our channel.
You can pre-order and pre-save the album now. On our store we have some super limited vinyl bundles which include signed art prints, unique polaroid taken by the band during sessions and early ticket sale access pass for our tour.
