Totally hopeless NBE. The government doesn't take the future of doctors seriously. This counselling delay is absolutely unacceptable. I can feel the pain for those who are waiting to take a seat this year, because I also didn't get my juniors and still have to do all ward work, on calls 🥲. Eagerly waiting for new batch to join but for the government the priority lies I think is that they don't have to pay 4 batches of PGTs. Thus, maybe the new session will commence from mid January or February.

Today at Hunger Strike Site. I was overwhelmed to see the generous support of Common People for the rights of Doctors and Health Care System.
I witnessed a woman with a lurching gait came to donate some towels for the Hunger Strikers travelling all the way with one leg and the support of a stick.
Truly haven't seen something like this before, this massive support, this massive courage of doctors.
I pray to God that justice is being served and the deadlock situation resolves for the health and wellbeing of Hunger- Strikers.
