Hello dear friends!🤗❤️🍁 Working on the new video. I will be sharing it tomorrow hopefully! I have delicious winter prep sauces, pastes to show you to have them year long. For a time I have been sharing one video per week, trying to make it a full long episode with full of info, in relaxed format both for recipes and travel videos. What do you think about the formats? Stay tuned!

I spent almost a month to film TARHANA making😊 https://youtu.be/uWGUSMXZn0k
To celebrate, I made this little animation — tarhana powder turning magically into soup. 🍲💫
This recipe means a lot to me, and I can’t wait to show you every step of the process.— I promise it will warm you up inside and out!

It's my birthday!✨🍂🍁- Sep.10 Looking back at this photo of me in New York, sitting on the Central Park stairs… I was 22 back then. I felt so grown-up, yet I was so inexperienced ☺️ All these years, I’ve learned so much—the good, the bad, everything has shaped me and helped me grow. In Turkish, we say ‘hamdım, piştim, yandım’—which means ‘I was raw, I was cooked (went through it all, learned), I was burnt (and became who I am today).’ Even though I feel I’m not fully ‘cooked’ yet :) I continue on this journey.
As I step into this new year of life, I pray that Allah gives me the chance to keep learning, working, and sharing as much as I can. And once again, thank you all for being with me on this journey!

My dear friends,
I am so happy to share that I graduated from gastronomy! ☺️ Even though it was a rather late decision, I’m truly glad I chose to study it — it has enriched me in so many ways and added a lot to my life as a self-taught chef, food writer, recipe developer, and YouTuber. With or without knowing, your support has helped me a lot along this journey, and I sincerely want to thank you all.
The cap and gown I’m wearing in the photo actually belong to my daughter — she also graduated this year 😃 and I thought it would be fun to celebrate both of us together with this picture.
August was quite a busy month for us with family matters, but I’m still working on editing my Kastamonu trip — in a surprise format that I hope you’ll enjoy 😊I also did my Tarhana and shared a short video but inshallah longer version will be on the way too.
Just wanted to share this little update with you all. Please stay tuned for the upcoming episode. Sending love to each of you 🌷

Sherbets were once the favorite drinks of the Ottoman Empire — colorful, spiced, and even considered healthy!
I made 4 different kinds in my new video.👉🏻 https://youtu.be/-cf45dmRG1k
“Which one would you try first?
1.🌹 Rose Sherbet
2.🌿 Purple Basil Sherbet
3.🍑 Spiced Fruit Sherbet (with apricots & plums)

Dear friends,
I’ve been feeling under the weather 🤒lately and, on top of that, I have an important exam tomorrow — so unfortunately, there won’t be a new episode this week. I truly appreciate your support and kind wishes for both my health and the exam. 💛🤲
In the meantime, I wanted to share some lovely behind-the-scenes photos from a very special day spent filming with a wonderful couple from Germany 🇩🇪
We cooked and filmed about Turkish cuisine together in my kitchen for a documentary that will be aired on a German TV channel. I also filmed an episode for my own channel that I’m very excited to share with you next week — so stay tuned! 🎬🍽️
Thank you for being here, and see you soon with fresh stories and recipes 🌿

Eid al-Adha memories – Eid Mubarak to you all! 🌙
Each photo holds a small story from our Kurban Bayram Celebration days
We started Eid morning with a lovely breakfast with my parents. Later that day, I took my daughter and her cousin to explore Eyüp, where she snapped a candid photo of me 😊
On the second day, we visited the eldest member of our extended family — he hasn’t been able to walk since a recent fall. I helped feed him some fruit yogurt and supported for a few steps. It was a tender, emotional moment for mw in front of my mom & dad.
I also helped to his Uzbek helper, preparing a beautiful table with samsa and Uzbek bread. That same day, we had to rush my mother-in-law to the emergency — thankfully, she’s doing well now. I realized later I had fed two elderly family members with my hands in one day… a humbling experience.
And today — we set up a joyful quick picnic-style table for my mom with my daughter which we were dreaming to have with her for days. And just before I was about to go live, the garden sprinklers suddenly turned on and soaked everything! I barely saved the camera from water. (the last photo) It wasnt easy to control my temper after all preps I made :)
Vlogging continues — I hope to share the episode this week, inshallah.
How is your Eid going? Sending love and warm wishes to you all! 💛
