Changed my mind, I'm opting for a 6 song system where once I complete 6 songs, I'll upload them and delist the old ones.
With that being said, I'll be dropping today.

I've decided to completely reboot the Mario Kart DS Restoration Project from the beginning. Here's why I've decided to do this, and why I'll be gone for a while as a result:
When I started doing restorations, more specifically for Mario Kart DS, I didn't really have any goal in mind. I never intended to restore all of Mario Kart DS's soundtrack, and more in general, I never intended for this channel to BE solely for video game music restorations. However, I noticed that because of these restorations, I had grown an audience who really wanted more of what I was doing. So I continued to make more and more restorations until somewhere along the way, I had decided to just restore the whole soundtrack.
Because of this sudden shift though, many of the project files I've been recycling are quite old. Which also means any details accidentally left out or missing have been unknowingly carried over to the new restorations. If you've been here since practically the start you'd know that most of them however were wiped alongside my old SSD. So although these project files I've been recycling aren't that old, they're still dated. Not all of them, however, because I've also been redoing some restorations from the ground up. The reason I've been doing that is because I've been noticing mistakes in old uploads. Things like pitch bends or vibrato being inaccurate or missing, instruments sounding off, etc.
At first, I believed it to be only a minor issue affecting only some songs. But after coming to the realization that some of these songs I've been restoring have had major mistakes, I can't be so sure. And going back to the project files to correct them would be ineffective, because if I removed anything by mistake, it cannot be undone. So I believe it's better for me to completely restart from the beginning.
Once I'm done with all of the restorations, every Mario Kart DS video on this channel will be made private all at once. I know that based on old polls, this is an unpopular decision. However, these restorations (including some very old ones that are still available on my channel) have not met my standards for quite a while and I'd rather not have videos that I'm not proud of get any unwanted attention. It'll give new viewers a false first impression.
For now, these restorations will stay up on the channel and the Vault Google Drive, which you can find in my channel description and video descriptions.
That's all, I'll see you guys when I'm finished.

Might be forced to revisit some of my MKDS restorations since I've been completely forgetting about the vibrato that some instruments have :(
