The recording sessions took place with the help of an all-star band, including trumpeter Harry โ€œSweetsโ€ Edison, tenor saxophonist Ben Webster, pianist Jimmie Rowles, guitarist Barney Kessel, bassist Red Mitchell, and Alvin Stoller or Larry Bunker on drums.
