I witnessed the greatest World Cup final of all time today. What a game. From 2-0 to 2-2 in the last 10 minutes. From 3-2 with a goal at the closest of margins to 3-3 with only minutes left at the end to penalties. The 2022 World Cup final had it all.

I think it's safe to say that Kylian Mbappe is going to be Cristiano Ronaldo's successor in Europe when it is all set and done. His hat trick saved France in that final, but in the end they still couldn't retain their title. He's only 24 and he's 6 goals away from breaking Miroslav Klose's World Cup scoring record set in 2014. Come 2026, providing he's not injured, Mbappe just might break it. Speaking of break, France broke the World Cup curse in this tournament...that they started in 2002. Under Didier Deschamps, France has gone from one trick ponies to one of the most revered footballing nations on the planet in just under a decade. Quarterfinalists at Brazil 2014, runners-up at France 2016, world champions for the second time at Russia 2018, quarterfinalists at Euro 2021 and runners-up at Qatar 2022. They're not going anywhere anytime soon. And with the plethora of young players under their reservoir, don't be surprised to see the French in this spot again in 2026 as 3-time world champions.

In the end, after 36 long years of waiting, Argentina are once again champions of the world. 3 decades and a half of misery, 3 straight final appearances (2014, 2015, 2016) and coming out empty handed in all 3, watching as Brazil accomplish themselves as the kings of South American football, watching Europe dominate the world stage during that time and almost blowing it twice against France, Argentina now have their 3rd star. But most importantly, a certain someone has now cemented his legacy as the GOAT of football: Lionel Messi. After years of choking, he now has the one trophy that has eluded him for so long: the world cup itself. Just last year, Argentina lifted the Copa America trophy; their first piece of international hardware since 1993 and Messi's first at that time after beating BRAZIL at home to win it. They were the South American champions coming into Qatar, lost to Saudi Arabia in their opening game...and now they've got the biggest piece of hardware added to their cabinet in the FIFA World Cup. They did it for Messi, they did it for the late Diego Maradona and they did it for their nation.

Congratulations, Argentina. And especially, congratulations to the GOAT Lionel Messi.

100 Nintendo Switch videos. And what better way to celebrate that than with a compilation video.
Let's say we aim for 200 so we can get to the second Nintendo Switch compilation video, eh?

So, I just learned from last night that Chris Ayres (the voice of Frieza from Dragon Ball Kai) has passed away. Now I knew he was ill for a lengthy period, but SHIT.

Now I'm sure most of you are well aware of the whole Vic Mignogna debacle back in 2019 and, quite frankly, I've not been a fan of Funimation's attitude over that time period, as well as some of the voice actors in there. They come off as entitled assholes and the way they treated Vic was disgusting, but not Chris Ayres. He's one of the rare Funimation VAs I like. Especially when he gave us, no joke, the best English voice for Frieza I've ever heard. Pauline Newstone's Frieza from the Ocean's dub days on Toonami wasn't good. Linda Young's Frieza sucked. She had him sound like a chain smoking granny...so did Pauline but not as bad or as noticeable as Linda's and I've yet to hear Daman Mills to make any judgment on him. I know people will bring up Little Kuriboh's from the Abridged series, which yes he was, but Chris Ayres was the man. The only flaw I heard was his lack of range when Frieza would transform so Kuriboh has that over Ayres.

Nevertheless, Chris Ayres is the best Frieza and I don't see anyone else coming close to him. Rest in peace, Chris Ayres.

Well these next 3 months should be hectic. Take a look at this schedule I've put on myself:

- Saturday Night's Main Event 6 and 7 (hopefully all done in October or by November)
- Survivor Series and extra build to the upcoming CAW Montage (in 2022)
- My Nintendo Switch Collection: Part 1 of 2
- Ranking the weapons from Monster Hunter World: Iceborne

I know I can only get 3 of the 5 of these done by the end of the year and the other two will be uploaded in January; after my usual channel intro to kick off 2022. So SNME 6 and 7 will be first immediately followed by the Survivor Series. So expect some WWE 2K fun to end 2021 from yours truly.

I watched the Plane Ride From Hell episode of Dark Side Of The Ring this morning, knowing damn well that it was not going to paint Ric Flair in a positive light and, well, not much surprised me except for two things: Brock Lesnar flashing his dick in front of Terri Runnels and JBL channeling his inner Rick Rude when he slapped a drunk Michael Hayes in the face, knocking him out like he was P.N. News. I never heard of those tales yet God damn did the Michael Hayes getting knocked out with a slap make me laugh.

There's also the "what if" scenario with Curt Hennig at the end. What if he wasn't fired after that plane ride? You've gotta realise that months after he got fired, Hennig died from a cocaine overdose. And the painkillers in his body did not help, along with the steroids. If they had kept him around I guarantee you that Hennig would've gotten clean and probably lived his life at the performance center as an OVW/NXT trainer. No doubt in my mind Curt Hennig's story would have had a happier ending than what hand fate dealt to him.

But the main focus goes to Ric Flair who, if you've heard about this plane ride story or literally ANY STORY OF RIC FLAIR BEING DRUNK OUT OF HIS MIND, everyone would know that giving Ric Flair alcohol never ends well. Hell his blithering drunkenness during the WWE 2K14 panel got Jim Ross fired in 2013. And of course, Twitter (because OF COURSE it's Twitter) wants to cancel Ric Flair. For an incident that happened in 2002. When he clearly had no fallacies of what he did back then. In no way am I defending what he did but I refuse to take something that happened nearly 2 decades ago and hold it over Ric Flair's neck like a guillotine. Only cowards do that. What's even more insulting is that most of this hatred is coming from people who claim to be big, lifelong fans as they claim to be which I call shenanigans. Ric Flair's issues with alcohol have been well documented. If you've heard one story you've heard them all. Is your safe space that dense you can't remember how bad Ric Flair gets with alcohol? Really? Please, miss me with your fake outrage. Twitter is just as bad as Impact indefinitely suspending (firing basically) Tommy Dreamer who also did NOT come off well in that Dark Side Of The Ring episode at all. Probably doing what they did so that the hate mob doesn't cancel them. I would've worded things differently, not throw him under the bus for something that happened nearly 20 years ago. Gimme a break.

I'm not worried. Nothing will happen with Ric Flair, I hope. I still like him as well as Hulk Hogan...YES, even after his n-bomb tirade that got leaked in 2015. It never bothered me as much as it did a lot of others as a black man myself. Hell I was more disappointed when I heard about it and I forgave him for it, cause I wasn't going to hold a grudge against him. Now could I be showing some kind of bias towards Hogan and Flair cause whether it was the 24-inch pythons (which it was) or the stylin' and profilin' in 1988, I would have been a wrestling fan regardless? Yeah, admittedly, but I also have another reason: how many of you out there are still wrestling fans to this day even after the Chris Benoit double murder-suicide tragedy in 2007? Quite a few I'm guessing. I would be a massive cuck if the Benoit tragedy didn't faze me to the point where I quit being a fan, yet Hogan's n-bomb tirade or blithering drunk Ric Flair did. This is nothing new when it comes to the wrestlers. I can separate the character from the person behind the character and while I do not condone the crap Flair and Hogan committed over the years, I could separate their personal lives from the characters and still have fun going down memory lane with little to no problems at all. Besides, if you point out the faults of some of Twitter's favorite wrestlers they'd be very quick to defend them...while exposing their hypocrisies.

Speaking of hypocrisies and I'll end the long read here: I don't wanna hear Twitter canceling any wrestler over something they did decades ago ever again. Wishful thinking on my part, I know. If Twitter, as an example, cancel Randy Savage for his treatment towards Elizabeth, they better do the same to "Stone Cold" Steve Austin when he beat up Debra.....which we know they won't. Canceling Ric Flair over his alcoholism, allow me to tell you some of the tales of one Jeff Hardy. Randy Orton's temper tantrums in the mid 2000s. Edge, as beloved as he is now, was no saint himself if you read about the affair he had with Lita, Matt Hardy's girlfriend at the time which definitely played a part in Matt's downard spiral. Batista cheating on his wife who was suffering from cancer. Triple H cheating on Chyna who was also no saint herself but that also led to her downfall. Seth Rollins cheating on his fiancé with a sympathizer of a German regime. Corey Graves cheating on his wife with Carmella. The many tales of domestic abuse, drug abuse and so many more fallacies from the wrestling business over the years that I've been a fan? I could go on and on. Hell, the SPEAKING OUT movement last year. Wrestling promotions to this day want to remove the carny from the industry. Problem is. you can never truly get rid of the carny from pro wrestling. You gotta take the good with the bad. If you can do that, more power to you. Otherwise, maybe pro wrestling's not for you if you're so easily offended that happened DECADES ago. Just saying.

So England choked again in yet another tournament, huh? XD

What was Southgate thinking leaving the hopes of an entire country at the feet of a bunch of youngsters like that?

OH WELL. LOLENGLAND continues their legacy of failure. 55 years and still going.
Conglaturations, England.

What makes this choke even better? The night before, Argentina beat Brazil in the Copa America finals to not only win their first cup since 1993 (also the Copa America) but Lionel Messi FINALLY has an international trophy under his name. And I couldn't be more happy for Messi. One legacy of failure ends for one of the best footballers of our generation; beating one of their biggest rivals at HOME. As LOLEngland runs wild in London tonight someone else joins their Portuguese brother from a different mother, Cristiano Ronaldo, with an international cup to go with their many accomplishments at the club level. Congratulations, Messi.

What should have been a time for me to upload my sequel to my Monster Hunter World highlights from last year has been canceled. My old hard drive decided to commit seppuku when I was putting the final touches to it. While I could still attempt it, that's weeks of preparation I won't be able to replicate at a quick rate. So no Monster Hunter World highlights 2.

I'm sorry for not being able to upload it in time. The last video I was able to was the Rajang/DBZ Abridged video "And Now For Something Different Again" that I was able to get up hours before my drive died. I had at least 3 videos in mind on doing and none of them are gonna be done now cause of what happened on April 1 with my hard drive. I lost a lot on that old drive.

I'll make it up for this mishap. Hopefully.
