The main aim of this course is to help you reduce the particular ways that you become reactive to the present moment (e.g., anxiety, anger, sadness, frustration, stress), the reactions that take you away from how you really want to be as a person, in relationships, at work, and at play.
Weโll do this together by installing what Charles calls the โinternal pause button.โ
How does one listen to music? Only while pressing play. This also applies to living fully and being present to life.
We can become so stuck on fast forward and rewind (mental time travel) that, in order to press play, we must first develop the ability to pause.
Use this 10-day course as the installation of a pause button in your mind.
You will develop a conceptual and practical understanding of the life-changing impact of the ability to pause and will learn how to apply this ability to the ways you react in life that you donโt really want to.
Each of these sessions are about 15-20 minutes in length in order to provide you with a thorough combination of meditative exercises, conceptual lessons, and insights both from Charles's experience as a long-time meditator and practitioner of psychotherapy.
Charles has a PhD in Clinical Psychology and believes in the healing power of Curiosity. He combines psychology, philosophy, and spirituality in order to explore the root of suffering and the meaning of "happiness."

The DARE app is an evidence based training program to help people overcome anxiety, panic attacks, worry, and insomnia. It is rooted in MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress reduction), MBCT (Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy) and ACT (Acceptance & Commitment Therapy) which are widely-used and empirically-supported therapeutic approaches for overcoming anxiety. In their essence MBSR, MBCT and ACT are psychological interventions that have at their core the practice of mindfulness -an open non-judgemental and accepting way of relating to anxiety.
