Check out my latest video about the awesome time I had at the most luxurious caravan park ever at the Vintage Van Festival by the beach in Caloundra on Queensland's beautiful Sunshine Coast.
The best part was that the caravan park covered the cost of my stay in return for me playing saxophone during the festival and treated me so well that I felt like a princess! AND they want me back next year as well! I had such a wonderful time and everybody was so nice.
Such a difference from my experience at the Vintage Caravan Nationals in Stanthorpe!

My Sydney travel buddy has now gone back to Oregon, and I am back on the road again and setting off on another adventure. Saying goodbye is hard to do: This time especially, as I said goodbye to both my best friend, and to the beautiful city where I was born.

Sydney has been amazing! Talk about one extreme to another from free camping in the country to a concrete slab campsite in the city...I truly did not expect to enjoy it as much as I did!

I'm blown away! I honestly just started doing these videos because I felt so lost and alone in the world and had so much healing to do. I felt nobody truly understood me and I just so wanted to be seen, known and understood. So I ventured into the wild to work out exactly who this Lisa person was, the authentic, raw, natural me. And I recorded it all so there'd be a record of what felt like my invisible life.
Slowly, but surely, you saw me. You found me. You connected with me. Not because of a product I produced or a performance I put on, but because I was just being my genuine authentic self and I am so thankful for each and every one of you.

We made it!!! As nervous as I was about undertaking another big road trip given what happened to my truck "Effy" and my caravan in November, I am pleased to say that this trip to Wagga Wagga was a success! I got to hang out and camp with other F-truck enthusiasts and, even though I couldn't afford to do the Saturday and Sunday cruises with them, I still had the best time.
