I started this channel in 2007 to feature Yoga Teachers and spread the word about Yoga. All of the teachers here are friends and/or people I practiced with. There are also previews of instructional videos that I created featuring Maria Villella. Some of these videos are available at www.mariavillella.com/shop.
My Ashtanga teacher was Maty Ezraty, who together with her partner Chuck Miller, owned and operated the original Yoga Works. Maty and Chuck taught and inspired a generation of Yoga teachers and students. I was in her afternoon class from 1997 until she left the studio in 2005. I continued until 2019 with other wonderful teachers, but Maty was the one. I will always miss her.
