I finished Ys X Nordics. What a great and fun game. The game play was fantastic and very flashy at times with some of the skill attacks at the end. The last boss fight was super enjoyable.
I hope everyone had a great time watching me play. I want to thank everyone who popped in and chatted with me during it. I also want to thank @LdeinerProductions for the raid. Sorry, I didn't see you guys in due to my chat freezing. I do appreciate it!
So, with Ys X complete, I'm thinking of starting up Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D. If not , I may swing back to Like A Dragon: infinit Wealth. There are so many games in my backlog I need to finish. Lol
Let me know what game you guys have been playing or finished lately.

I started watching The Penguin on HBO Max this week. Man, is this show great. I fully believe you should never write a story or script to a rating. This hinders the creative process, and it can ruin a good story. There are too many films that have fallen victim to this. It's also best to keep true to the source material.
Colin Farrell is perfect as Osward "Oz" Cobb. His journey into the villain we know is fantastic. I can't wait to finish this.
We will be doing a review on it in a future podcast episode.
I would love to know if you have watched this show or not. If so, what do you think?

What is your favorite NES game?
For me, it has always been Sunsoft's Blaster Master. From the fantastic music in the intro to the overall soundtrack has left a lasting impression on me. I love the detailed environments and the spirit work. It's started my love for Metriod/Castlevania exploration.

Morning everyone! Sorry about the Silent Hill 2 Remake Stream last night. I had a lot of fun for what I played. But the game crashed my PS5 3 times. I was not too sure what was happening. It would just shut down the system. I thought it could have been my system over heating. But my system was warm and not hot. I did a test stream playing Ys X Nordics, and it ran with no issues for 2 hours.
I was looking online, and it seems this is a known issue. Many people on Reddit are reporting this issue, and many have reached out to playstation support about it. I'm going to try playing offline to see if it works. If not, I'll try doing a reinstall. It just sucks, I really have been looking forward to playing it, and my other friends have not had any issues. It's so strange.
Thank you for hanging out during each stream.
On another note for my schedule this weekend.
1.@RetroRyan and I will be discussing Sylvester Stallone movie toy lines on tonight's Collector's Showcase.
2. I will also be playing Left 4 Dead 2 with @SanctumStarktorum and @RetroTiburon on his channel at 10:30 PM. CST.
3. I will have Episode 104 of the podcast out this Saturday. We will be discussing foreign horror movies.
I how to see you all there. Have a great Friday and an awesome weekend!

Welcome to the Dad Level Podcast. We do a weekly podcast every Wednesday as Dads (and Parents or not) who talk about memories of the past to the present. I do unboxings, reviews, live streams, and vlogs. We love sharing stories from our past while growing up in Houston, TX , from the Dad's perspective.
We are always interested in discussing just about any topic. So let us know in the comments if have any suggestions.
A little about me (Vince): I grew up with my father and sister. We moved around a lot in Houston, TX. My father worked really hard to support my sister and I. We did everything together from Role Playing (D&D, Marvel Super Heroes and Rifts), hung out in comic shops, went to arcades most weekends, watch (movies and anime), collected comics, toys and video games. I made a lot of friends along the way that I still have to this day. When I became Dad myself, I wanted to share that love and fun with my son.
I hope you all enjoy the content we provide.
