Mew - Farewell Shows and RIP

As a pretty big Mew fan for almost 20 years, this is hard to take. Although their activity the last 5+ years has been sparse, they did some shows this past Summer and even debuted a new tune, brought hope and optimism. But I guess I understand why this is happening. I have felt they have not been quite the same since Bo Madsen left the band, but they managed to to release a record and tour still. Part of me always hoped he would come back and reunite with them. I suppose he could still work with Jonas in some other capacity at some point at least, if we never get a reunion.
I have a ton of nostalgia for Mew. This 1 is kind of hitting hard, although I must confess, their activity in recent years and even really since Bo left, has felt different.
But I probably will go on to YouTube in a few hours and try and empty more of my thoughts. I may want to try and do a Mew Albums Video series on there, which I never have done.
Love Mew..will always have the memories ❤
