I've been thinking about Super Mario World a lot lately for some reason. I don't know why, but I really really like that game. I played it for the first time like 9 or 10 years ago at this point and I still love going back to it from time to time. I think that Super Mario World is the franchises most important game ever because it laid the ground work for a lot of the later games, and was the first game to be able to truly showcase what a next generation Mario game could be. Nintendo knows this too because they wouldn't be referencing the game for ideas some 30 or so years after it released with things like the Reznor fight in New Super Mario Bros 2 and the consistent reuse of the games amazing soundtrack. Up until Super Mario Bros Wonder, the jump sound was basically just a reuse of the one from Super Mario World. So yeah, I think its fair to say that Super Mario World was the franchises most important or at least one of the most important games. I would make a video on this, but I don't know if y'all would really care for it since I'm a Minecraft channel first and foremost, and also I don't think I have enough to say on this topic. When I make a video every 2 months or so I don't wanna disappoint any of you guys that's all.
