~ Announcing My 22nd Album, ā€œSweetheartā€ ~

The sweet little creatures in life
Fall asleep peacefully and touch your heart

I have wanted to compose serene lullabies from a long time ago, and here I go. Watching the baby sleep, there’s a scent of honesty and purity. A baby’s smile is a language that can melt any heart. Let the sweet lullabies send them to a magical dream with a heart full of wonder.

The melody of this album will be serene and lovely, just what we need to heal our hearts and souls and reduce our stress and worries after a long tiring day. Let the melody be your best companion during bedtime and get you ready to conquer tomorrow. I’ll upload the first track next week. Stay tuned!

Dream big, little one. Good night ~

~ Sneak Peek Of My Next Composition ā€œHow Are You?ā€ (New Year Special) ~

It is finally 2025, Happy New Year to you all! How are you?

A year has passed, and we must have a lot of stories to tell, good or bad, happy or sad. But apart from that, we also have our future awaiting us to discover the new and unexpected gifts of life. The past has given us a lot of experiences to learn and improve, to rise after falling, and to understand the importance of every second in creating a beautiful life. Let’s not waste all the lessons we have received to date.

With this piece, it’s not for me to share my own story. As we start the new year, I would like to ask you all a question: ā€œHow Are You?ā€. Sometimes, asking a simple thoughtful question to show that we care can have positive impacts on others more than we can imagine.

This question is for all of us to reflect on ourselves and discover how we are going to create the beautiful life we wish for in the future, which is starting now at this second. If you want to share your stories, you can also do so in the comment section. No matter what our answer to the question is, we keep learning instead of giving up, and hopefully, it will lead us to new valuable discoveries.

I’ll upload this piece in the next few days. Stay tuned and thank you everyone :)

My 21st album, ā€œEarly Morning Viewā€ ~

After reminiscing and reflecting on my years of journey through the last album, it’s time to start afresh once again. Early morning often represents a fresh beginning of a beautiful day, and a beautiful day begins with a beautiful heart. Nature and views are also at their best during this time.

The night is darkest just before dawn. And I promise you dawn is coming.
- Harvey Dent -

Darkness cannot drive out darkness, only light can do that. When the morning comes, so is hope and light. They bring a positive start and the rest is for us to make our best effort and put our whole heart into everything we do throughout the day.

Being positive doesn’t mean ignoring the negative
Being positive means overcoming the negative
There is a big difference between the two

The music themes in this album will be soothing, calming, and healing with the positive energy to make the best of your day. Hope you find this album enjoyable and powerful enough to give you a positive start in the morning. I’ll upload the first track by next week. Thank you all and stay tuned ~

Happy to announce my 20th album, ā€œThe Little Momentā€ ~

First of all, I would like to thank everyone for all your amazing support so I can finally reach this milestone. I can’t even believe that it happened. While it’s not the easiest journey I had, it’s the moment I cherish with all my heart. Along the way, I have learned so many things and been very grateful for the chance to share the beauty of piano music, beautiful and inspirational messages, and even my life story with all of you. This is a beautiful memory that I will remember forever and I would love to put it nicely in my 20th album.

Without water drops, there would be no ocean
Without steps, there would be no stairs
Without little things, there would be no big things in life

Life is made up of little moments. But, once in a while, you get a moment that changes everything. I still remember, when I wanted to slow down, some of you messaged me that you hoped I wouldn’t stop making music because my music and words had touched your heart and made your life better. Some of you even donated to me, bought my music and music sheets, and engaged me to compose custom music for your project. I truly appreciate all of them. Also, not to mention all the views, likes, and comments that made me still here today. Every single thing matters and they aren’t little.

ā€œIn this life, we cannot always do great things. But we can do small things with great loveā€, Mother Theresa.

I will include the little stories of my journey all these years in this album. The music themes will be nostalgic and emotional, expressing the mix of emotions I experienced all along. I hope you will enjoy it and I’ll upload the first track by next week. Stay tuned and thank you everyone :)

Why A Handwritten Letter Is So Special?

A handwritten letter can be powerful. It may be a wonderful way to repair the relationships of long-forgotten friends, neglected colleagues, those you argued with, or just simply to remind your loved ones how much you care for them. You show them that it is worth your effort to write the letter by hand. You will feel closer to the individual you are writing to and in turn they will feel closer to you.

On Valentine’s Day, when you wish to give a special present to your partner, a handwritten love letter can be one of the options. A handwritten letter represents the genuine and sincere feelings of the writers. And the beauty of it is not only in the words written but also in the strokes of ink of your handwriting that can’t be copied by anyone else. It will remain as a treasure forever. Let your partner have this special gift on this special day!

Have a sweet and lovely Valentine’s Day everyone ā¤ļø

Winter Story In Japan

When I planned for this trip, one of my goals was to experience snowfall at least once in my life. Everybody knows that traveling in winter requires us to bring a thick jacket and winter gear which can be quite expensive and inconvenient. A freezing temperature and slippery walk on snow also add another hassle. With this thinking in mind, I decided to visit Hokkaido only for a short time. I didn’t know that I would fall in love with snow so much. Only a few days were definitely not enough. I wished I could come back again in the future.

I have experienced winter without snow in other countries before and I have visited places which had some snow but no snowfall. Therefore, this trip to Hokkaido is probably the most beautiful winter I have experienced in my life. The snow gently fell and covered the trees, mountains, and whole area in white. The feeling was completely different. And this time, I was considered very lucky. As I wanted to avoid bad weather like winter storms and blizzards, I decided to go for early winter which also meant a low chance of snowfall. Thankfully, snow came early last year and it ended up snowing every day when I visited.

Unlike my travel style in autumn which had many specific destinations, here, I only went to one or two popular places and spent the rest of the time walking around the area enjoying the snow. I visited Asahiyama Zoo and was happy to meet the adorable penguins, reindeer, and polar bear. My next intended destination was Sounkyo ropeway. Unfortunately, the train was suspended that day. So, I continued my journey back to Sapporo and Otaru. Here, I travelled with a repeated cycle of walking around, eating, and enjoying hot drinks in a cafĆ©. I didn’t go skiing or do other winter activities (although many of my friends told me to do so). I don’t think I could do it as well, it’s just too cold for me =P

Nevertheless, I was satisfied with just wandering around the city. It’s true that like kindness, snow beautifies everything it covers and makes everything magical. It transforms a city into a wonderland. It makes all bus and train journeys become scenic rides. Riding a train had become one of my favourite activities during that time. I loved sitting quietly looking outside the window and letting the train take me through a series of beautiful places covered in magical white. When I took the train from Tokyo to Hokkaido, some areas had not been covered with snow yet, so, it only had a few scenic spots. It was the day after, then, it snowed heavily in those areas and hence, during my journey back to Tokyo, every single second was breathtaking. However, it was hard to take good photos on a moving train :(

Lastly, I loved how snow made the houses and trees it covered become majestic, creating a lovely white Christmas vibe full of warmth and peace. And once, when I enjoyed watching this wonderful scene, the snow suddenly fell and that was the best moment I had in my life. As I live in a tropical country, experiencing snowfall was truly special for me and it was something I had dreamed of for a long time.

Thank you for reading and I hope you enjoy my travel stories. Let travelling inspire us to see life in a more beautiful way ~

Autumn Story In Japan

While greenery is really soothing, the red leaves definitely have their own charms. Nature never goes out of style.

I was truly blessed to experience two seasons in one trip. Since the country of Japan stretches over 3,000 km, one can enjoy a brilliant autumn season in the central region while it’s snowing in the northern region. In this post, I will cover the story of my autumn journey which filled my soul with full of nature’s love.

Going to the right place at the right time is the key since the autumn season in Japan is widely spread in many different places from September to December. I was so excited about this trip and finally, for the first time in my life, I was able to see such beautiful autumn scenery with my own eyes. My favourite spots were Kurobe Gorge and Hakone.

Kurobe Gorge was literally the most amazing destination I visited during this trip and the autumn leaves undeniably added another layer of beauty to it. Although I was a little late to visit this place, around half of the red leaves were still there thanks to the long autumn season in Japan. Here, I felt like entering a wonderland with heavenly rivers, trees, and mountains lined up to each other and at that instant, I felt so free. ā€œNature healsā€, I couldn’t agree more with this saying.

Hakone was another heavenly spot that one could explore with four types of transportation (train and cable car that climb the hills, ropeway to the volcanic valley, and lake cruise). At first, I didn’t expect much from this place as there were mixed reviews. In the end, the wonderful view from the hilltop and lake left me speechless. Unfortunately, there were strong winds and I couldn’t proceed with the ropeway and lake cruise. But the overall experience was enough to amaze me and luckily, I spotted Mount Fuji during the bus ride back to the station :D

Some other special places that are worth mentioning are Kurama and Mount Takao. I loved Kurama for its freshest autumn leaves. Here, the red colour was so vibrant that even some of the passenger trains were designed for the purpose of a scenic ride. For Mount Takao, I loved riding the chair lift! It was a fun and thrilling way to enjoy autumn.

During this trip, my partner kept reminding me to remain calm and not to be disappointed too much when things didn’t go according to my wishes. Some things indeed happened against my wish despite a careful plan. For example, I was feeling a little unwell because the weather turned out to be so cold and I didn’t dress warmly enough. There were also some activities we couldn’t do due to reasons that were out of our control like strong wind and cancelled train schedule. Like the experience from the previous trip that made us better prepared, we also took whatever happened on this trip as a future reference. So, we just went with the flow and didn’t let anything ruin our trip.

Lastly, before flying home, I couldn’t find any destination that suited my limited time-space. So, I just walked around the hotel and ended up finding tree-lined Hikawa-sando, a beautiful walkway full of trees with yellow and red leaves lining up on both sides. What a wonderful way to conclude the trip!

The next post will be the winter story. Stay tuned and have a great day everyone :)

My 19th Album, Twelve Portraits ~

Every artist dips his brush in his own soul and paints his own nature into his pictures.
- Henry Ward Beecher -

One of my music inspirations is looking at beautiful pictures. From different colours, angles, and many other details, a picture can express different stories and reveal the feelings and emotions of the artist, just like music. Both pictures and music, everything has beauty in it. So, in my 19th album ā€œTwelve Portraitsā€, instead of finding the pictures that fit my composition, I’ll search for the picture first and compose the music based on the inspiration it gives. I’ll also write my own impression and perspective for each picture (and on the description even further). Definitely, everyone has a different perspective and that’s what makes it interesting.

The world moves fast
Changing everything around us
Photography is a gift
That can keep us in a moment forever

Looking at a picture, everything like memory, imagination, and hope can pop up, resulting in different colour of music. It can be something meaningful as deep as the ocean or just something light and joyful as long as it makes our lives full. Music and pictures give a soul to the universe.

Stay tuned and hope you enjoy this album :)
