Well a day late, sorry bout that xD. I was busy setting up the simulcast. Yeah for those of you who do not know it yet, Twitch now allows us to simulcast our stream to multiple platforms. We have done so yesterday and we will keep on doing so for at least another 4 weeks.
The simulcasting is still a bit experimental. I want to see how it will affect the channel, how the community reacts to it, how the other platforms will react to it. As such for the next 4 weeks we are going to run the simulcast experiment ^^. There will be tweaks and new platforms introduced along the way. At the end of the 4 week period, I will make a conclusion in how the simulcasting has affected the stream in general.
Nevertheless we will need a schedule for that, so here we go :D. This time this schedule is true for YouTube and Twitch :D.

Its been a while since I posted to the community page :D. As some of you might have noticed the amount of content on this channel has been slowing down tremendously. The main problem is that I am running out of time and energy to keep up daily uploads of long let's plays.
As I am not a full time content creator, I lack the time to commit to long let's plays. At least partially. The long let's plays will still continue on the Twitch channel ^^. So if you want more Factorio greatness either check them out on Twitch, or check them out in the second channel found here @boldvikingtwitchvods1605
However this does not mean that there will be no content on this channel ;). I already have talked about it a couple times and I am starting to get into more edited content. I would rather have one video per week that has more effort in it that one video per day which I hastily recorded in my lunch break xD.
I am aiming for 1 video per week, though I am not exactly sure how high/low the throughput will be. Things are still changing in the background ^^.
The content is going to switch more into the direction of challenge runs and forcing AI's to play games to our amusement. One of which you should be able to watch on my channel right now (unless I messed up the scheduling :D)
Nevertheless I thank each and everybody of you for your kind support :D.

Alright, its been a while since a proper schedule. Well during my vacation the last 2 weeks I just didn't make any plans at all xD.
Nevertheless we continue with the established schedule from the last 2 weeks, since I really enjoyed it :D. For a recap the schedule will consist of 60% main content (which will be factorio) 20% new stuff (basically variety stuff) and 20% stuff I just like to play to relax (mostly Turnbased stuff, or similar).

The Youtube schedule also has normalized itself a bit. We will be going with 50/50 Captain of Industry and Factorio K2SE. Expect episodes daily, with the exception of Sunday. There might be content on Sunday, but not guaranteed.
And that should be it, nothing more and nothing less :D. Just as a heads up next week I got an on site multi day work assignment, so the schedule for next week can be a bit scuffed. Though we will see how it will be exactly later this week

So yeah last week there were almost no uploads. This is not good. To keep the channel growing daily uploads are more or less a must. The episodes recored for this week will be more on the just roll with it side, since I still lack time to prepare stuff. So we keep rolling with it and see where we end up :D.
No exact plan for releases this week, but I will try to create content every day ;).

Schedule!
So it has been a day off here in Germany. What did I do? Well I woke up at 1400 ... yeah I slept all day xD. I did kinda say we might start early today for the stream. That is not happening, though the stream will start at the normal hour ;).
This week we will have a one-maybe two off. Timberborn has released update 4 and I actually have a paid sponsorship for that oO. It is the actual first of this kind, so let's see how this one manages to turn out. Either way Wednesday is going to be a good day to dry and starve some beavers xD.

I am currently having a lot of fun recording Darkest Dungeon 2 runs. On Tuesday I will release the video of the damage squad going into Act 3. Yeah turns out that once you unlock an act, you can't go into the previous acts without having it done once ... . So if you want to see my first time reaction to Act 3 go to the YouTube channel ;).
I have a second run recorded as well, not quite sure if it will be released this week, or next one. This kinda depends on the back log ^^.
Also the backlog currently is empty, so I hope that I can get some recording done Tomorrow ^^.

So last weeks schedule kinda fell under the bus because I was Ill over the weekend. The long weekend here in Germany did help me out quite well, especially in preparing a backlog. I kinda have the whole week prepped and staged for releases oO which has not happened in a long while :D. There are going to be a couple of changes coming this week, some are still in the pipe and will be revealed once they are ready.

So we had a bit of a 2 week hiatus, week one was because of work just slugging me down. Week two is was mostly ill and did not have the energy to prepare any content. Good news. The long weekend made it possible for me to stack the backlog, so we are good for the whole week.
The Channel will also see a new entry which will stay for a while. I want to try something new, this will be in addition to Factorio uploads ;). As you know we play Darkest Dungeon 2 on the Twitch channel. Since it is a rogue like we do need to perform a couple of runs to make progress. So I though why not also create some DD2 runs for YouTube ;). Depending of how many I have available there will be 1-2 per week uploaded ;).
Then there is a oneshot this week. If you are active in my discord you will know that I somehow got sucked into Arknights. I actually really enjoy playing it :D. Now there is a special event starting this Tuesday and I kinda saved up 300 pulls. So this Wednesday we are going to do the 300-1 pull stream.

Welcome to Schedule club!
The first rule about schedule club is to not ask about where last weeks schedule was xD.
Yeah last week was quite turbulent at work. A lot of stuff got done which was good and a lot of time was spend which is nice. Sadly there was not enough time left to do YT recordings, sorry about that. On the plus side, I did shuffle my work time schedule around and mode some more dedicated time for YT stuff. The down side is, there is not enough time to prepare more compact episodes, so we will be going to more 'just roll with it' type episodes :D.

So on Twitch we finally beat Darkest Dungeon on Bloodmoon difficulty :D. There are still some things to do and the timeframe for Darkest Dungeon II is only 2 streams. So we will be focusing on beating the remaining bosses, clearing the courtyard etc.

Yeah last week was a bit of a bummer. As always YouTube content, even if it is planned for only a 30 minute episode, is usually not recorded in 30 minutes. Now I am getting pretty good at doing the 30 minute one-shot, so that saves on editing. Though there is usually stuff I need to do before/after episodes to make this possible. Last week was way to busy at work, and since work is what allows me to live, it takes priority. Now I did reschedule and shuffle my daily routine a bit to make more time, though we will have to see if it holds.

Schedule time!
Well this week starts a bit rough. This morning I already had a sleight fever, nothing serious but also a good indicator that I am working something off. And the whole weekend I was already feeling cold-ish. So for today there will be a sick day ^^. I will be back Tomorrow ;).
This does give me time to work on the K2SE base (maybe even the py base) and setup things for future content ^^. So not all is lost.
Speaking of YouTube, that channel is running better again. Turns out regular content is very much favored by the algorithm. So I do try to keep it up. Though after the recording session for today's episode, I felt really tired (that's the cold still doing its magic) so not quite sure how good it will be.
As for the Py Vod Dumps. They seem to become somewhat more popular. More than I though. Big thx to (you know who you are just keeping your name out of this so you don't get bugged by everyone else xD) who kept a private repository of all previous streams. I am currently syncing them with my home server. Once they are there they will be uploaded to YT and I will also have a look at the playlist issues.

I am currently thinking what other content I could add for the tryout segment. I did fetch myself Dredge yesterday. It was enjoyable, but I could not see myself making any good content around it. Also to be honest, creating content on Dredge just spoils the fun of it :D. I can definitely recommend it
As for the schedule. I will not provide any accurate time slots when content will be live. Though I will try to release daily content (just not always at the same hour of the day) :).

I have been playing games since the 90s. Grew up with all kinds of consoles. Today I work as a Software Architect with too much time, so I turned to twitch to have some more fun :D. I live in the south of Germany, grew up in Dutch and got schooled in English, as such I have a weird accent :D.
