I watched Bad Faith yesterday (free on Tubi) and highly recommend it. It's about Christian Nationalism and the threats to democracy. These crazies basically don't believe in representative democracy or the will of the people. Cue Jan 6th. They don't care what kind of person Trump is because he has agreed to make deals with them (he already has with 3 Supreme Court Justices). The smarter ones know he lost in 2020. The smarter ones know they don't have the votes to win fairly, which is why we have some of the by any means necessary, violent rhetoric types. The dumber ones continue to believe the big lie, believe everything is rigged against them. But all of them don't care. They don't want a live and let live world where they are free to practice their religion. They want their religion to be the government (cue Project 2025). They have extreme, hateful and conditioned points of view, believing they are good and everyone else is evil. The movement plays into a lot of fear mongering (world is being destroyed stuff). Totes mental illness. They ain't about love, justice, or fairness. Anyway, all the more reason to vote for Kamala Harris. There are sane Republicans out there like Liz Cheney (notice how maga is attacking her now) who are frustrated with the extreme maga movement, which is why Kamala Harris will get more Republican votes than any other Democratic candidate in history.
