These are some tidbits of what I've been up to lately. I've been having a bit of a blast adjusting styles from the Genos series for my DGX-670.
To get the drums to actually work here on the 670, I've pulled up the drum maps from the Genos keyboards' respective data lists, and did the editing in MixMaster.
Long story short, I'm starting my own collection of styles from various keyboards adapted for my 670. It'll have styles from, of course, the Genos series, along with stuff from the Tyros series (mainly the 3, 4, and 5), some of the newer PSR-S keyboards and the PSR-SX900, and some cool old premium stuff originally gathered by Chris Easdown.
I pretty much originally got all the extra style files from PSRTutorial.com, which is basically a treasure trove of styles, MIDI files, and audio made from and for Yamaha devices.
A lot of styles have really gotten what I like to call a glow-up. Here's a list of a few I know of that have changed drastically!

The changes especially among the intros are quite percievable when you go from the Tyros 1, to the 2, and to the 3. 1 and 2 had an organ solo (in intro III), but said organ part was changed to be more of a background chord change on the Tyros 3. It's stayed like that up until the Genos 2.

Up until the Tyros 5 and onwards, this style hasn't changed much, if at all. On the T5 its intros and exits have changed, along with the drums, to a lesser extent.

Originally, it seemed to be meant for two songs: Just The Two Of Us by Grover Washington Jr., and Lovely Day by Bill Withers. On the Genos 2, it got reworked entirely just to work with Lovely Day. Just The Two Of Us now has its own seperate style, 16BeatSoul.

Yep, the Genos-exclusive Jazz style has gotten a makeover as well. The intros and exits of course, have changed, but one thing with the variations, is that the bass has no two-feel here. It walks all throughout.

You're going to laugh at this.......
I really discovered a treasure trove of hidden legacy voices that can't be normally accessed!
All it took was the crazy simple steps of me controlling my keyboard from FL Studio using the MIDIOUT2 port, making sure the channel is set to channel 1, and then flipping through the LSB/fine bank numbers to find an elaborate treasure trove of hidden panel voices (as in the type you'd find on the Tyros 1, DGX-660, older Clavinovas, etc.)
It even automatically preserves the DSP and MIDI controller (attack, decay, release, vibrato) data on that voice, too!
I'll categorize these later.

Well, yesterday, my dad and I were able to go to my favorite Guitar Center, and as you can see, one of my most coveted keyboard has been procured. I don't have the proper stand or pedals for it yet, but they should come soon.
Also, apart from the XG, GM2, and GS voices, there also seems to be some extra hidden voices I can't seem to find or access directly, but can sorta "trick" the system into pulling it up from my computer connected to it via USB. Let me list a few that I found.

—another set of theatre organ sounds (these are the ones you'd find on the Tyros 1, 2, 3, and 4 keyboards.)

So, anyways: updates for anyone who somehow still stuck around waiting for a video from me.
It'll come.... Eventually. I've been swamped with classes and work, so, yeah.
I also got a new laptop over the summer and had the data from my old one (which is dead... R.I.P.) transferred to a flash drive. I HOPE to get something done soon, so.... Yeah. Have fun with that.
