It truly is a sad day in aviation history as we bid farewell to the, "Queen of the Skies." Since 1969 the graceful giants have served as cargo planes, commercial aircraft capable of carrying 500 passengers, carrying NASA's space shuttles, and being the Presidents primary aircraft also known as Air Force One. Today the last 747 has been delivered to Atlas Air. May her legacy live on in the hearts of aviation enthusiasts around the globe and for years to come...
