Currently studying the bible:
"The pyramids and temples of Gizeh" 1883 by William Flinders Petrie

Will take me some time as it is 315 pages long and filled with information.

I could not have a channel on ancient Egypt and not stuyding this milestone of #archaeology and #Egyptology inside out.

All the best,
LM

Hey Egyptians!
Hope u r having a wonderful weekend!!

I have been studying the South Satellite Pyramid of #Sneferu (#Dahshur) for the last few weeks and will soon release a new video on the topic!!

The pyramid is full of clues and is the only pyramid in #Egypt (with the only exception of the #GreatPyramidofGiza) to have an ASCENDING corridor.

In order for us to understand the enigmatic pyramid of Giza, we need to study what the Egyptians built before, although the picture is becoming clearer and clearer over time, the very first and main mystery of the Great Pyramid is already presenting itself with the #BentPyramid, which is:

How in the world did they raise those blocks up at that height? Construction ramps were found alongside some pyramids before #Khufu, but, if they make sense in Huni's (Seila) and #Sekhemkhet (Saqqara), with a max height of 80m, (never actually reached) how were the Bent Pyramid blocks lifted to 105m, we know how they are stacked, how they are interconnected, the angles, the quality, the type, the different layers, the different polishing, we just don't know how they lifted the huge blocks, and how in the world they cut them in such a record-breaking time (24 to 48 years for more than 3 pyramids?!?!).

Still, the evidence collected by archaeologists is pretty compelling, but the puzzle is far from convincing to me, regarding ramps and construction timings, and for you??

The mystery of the Great Pyramid of Giza begins in Dahshur, if we can decode the Bent Pyramid, we can decode #khufu.

Please let me know your thoughts in the comments ;)

All the best,

And see u soon with the new video of Sneferu's South Satellite Pyramid!!

thanks to Keith Hamilton for his precious independent research on the subject, link below:

Hey Egyptians!

Hope everything is going well!

I wanted to give u an update on the Bent Pyramid video, soon to be released.

I am starting having a bit of work lately in Architecture and Metaverse, i think i am a bit overworked, so i need to put a side the youtube channel for prob a couple of weeks.

The reason i started the channel is to share my passion and adventure exploring Ancient Egyptian Architecture and i'd love to do it in a passionate and chill way without feeling pressure.

I am sure you understand.

In the meantime, if you also like to explore the subject, i recommend Keith Hamilton studies ;)

Hey everyone!!

Hope all is good!!

Following is a page from the "The Buried Pyramid" from Zakaria Gonaim, and shows the ramps that were used to build the unfinished pyramid of Sekhemkhet.

It is a milestone for archaeological research (1952) as it proves what was always a theory: the Egyptians built the pyramid using ramps.
At least the first stepped pyramids, but why not including the later pyramids?

Apparently the ramp were composed by mud and left over stones, and have a gentle slope of about 10% at least in this picture.

Thanks to ‪@ancientegypthist‬ for sharing the picture!!
