Sad to say, but the day has come. Due to a lack of interest in my videos, I have decided to stop releasing videos on this channel. I don’t know if this is a forever thing or not, but it is time to stop for now at least. I do have over 300 videos recorded and most are uploaded and ready, most of these will be available on my websites if you’re interested, especially the tour of Issan videos.
I would like to thank all the people who have stuck by me over the years, I really do appreciate the support and the many friendships I have made through YouTube. Lifeinthailand is 10 years old, believe it or not, over 1100 videos published and well over 1400 video uploaded, and we got a few million views, it was fun for a long time but for me, the fun is gone, it has become very depressing, every day is worse than the day before, every month worse than the month before, hard to watch something you have invested so much time, money, and effort into, slowly die, but that’s what has happened. Nothing lives forever.
Maybe one day I will come up with a new idea and bring her back to life, who knows. I have a big trip planned soon, I will be bringing the camera, but have no idea if the videos well ever get shown, might be time to just do videos for me.

My name is Paul and I run the lifeinthailand youtube channel. I enjoy making videos about the cool and interesting things I see here in beautiful Thailand. My videos show the wonderful people, the beautiful places, and most importantly the food, so much food. I also do videos about the things I am doing around my house here in Northeast Thailand, like raising animals and growing food and all that comes with a homestead style of life. I have been calling Thailand home since 2004 (over 1/3 of my life) and still find things that amaze me all the time, amazing Thailand.
