Sak Yant tattoos are traditional Thai hand poke tattoos originally done with a bamboo needle and are said to give magical powers of protection.

Learning the history of a new place is one of the reasons we love going on our adventures. In the most recent video, we backpack to the ancient capital city of Ayutthaya, Thailand. The city was sacked by the Burmese army in 1767, destroying as many as 400 temples and cutting off all the Buddha statue's heads. The result of this attack was moving the capital of Siam (present day Thailand) to the new capital city, Bangkok. We got a chance to explore this UNESCO site and even had a chance to have some fun with the locals!

Have you ever tried durian before? Durian is a fruit so smelly that it's not allowed on public transportation in Thailand. Some people either love the taste of durian (Courtney) or absolutely hate it (Travis). Check out our newest video as we try durian and even eat bugs!!!
