With the future ban on tiktok in the US, artists will have to be innovative in how we promote our music.

Gonna be making a guide on that soon 🙌

Your music honestly has the potential to change your life forever, and all it takes it one post on tiktok or instagram.

We often say "luck" is the reason someone might've blown up, but they increased their luck by posting 10x more than you.

Just post, everyday, and watch the results impress you.

If you had to say there was one reason your music hasn't "blown up" yet, what would it be?

Here's how to blow up in the underground - A tutorial:

1. BRANDING, BRANDING, BRANDING.

I can't express this enough.

You are building a brand.

You are an entrepreneur.

You're not allowed to "just make music" and hope for the best.

Why not?

Look at the other rappers who tried.

You haven't even heard of most of them.

It's because they aren't building a brand, but following a hobby.

You're different.

2. Your music is NOT your product.

I know this may seem controversial to what the other "gurus" try to tell you

*sunlight*

But music itself isn't something you can get paid for because of FREE streaming platforms.

Yeah...go blame spotify for this change.

BUT, this is probably one of the best things ever.

Why?

Because it forces you to actually own a business.

Your music is free MARKETING for your brand.

Let me say that again.

Your music is MARKETING.

The point of your music is to build awareness around your brand (you.)

People start to trust your brand (you) and follow the story you put out (which should be authentic.)

And with that, you've built an audience.

What do you do with an audience...?

You make some damn money.

3. Content is KING

If you're not posting content at least 10-15 times a day across different platforms, you're doing something wrong.

People don't know who you are unless you give them the chance to learn.

And if you think you don't "need" to post content...

Look at my current music. I don't post often, damn near at all, and I'm in the same spot.

I've learned from the top managers, and their advice never changes.

Content. Content. Content.

Make content to build awareness about your music.

Market your brand by making good authentic music.

Sell to your audience with your brand.

You don't need kendrick level lyrics.

Sometimes it’s best to just record yourself and say whatever comes to mind.

Oh, and trust me, it won't be yuno miles level lyrics.

Music Promotion is useless...

And it'll remain useless until you learn how to make good music.

I'm switching my ways.

I've been teaching you step 10 without teaching you step one.

No more of that.

It's time for you to learn how to actually make good music.

Music that people want to actually listen to.

Music that is catchy.

Music that is like ear candy.

No more promoting your bad music.

Think of your music as a product.

It's time to make a product so good people feel so stupid saying no
