To my subscribers and viewers,
As you may have noticed from my last video, I have decided that itās time to stop this long journey.
This channel started off as a way for me to showcase the anime openings and endings that I like. Iāve always been a big anime openings/endings collector, and could easily watch them for hours every day. It was this love that motivated me to keep making these videos. Nowadays, it doesnāt give me that sense of satisfaction anymore; making these videos has started to feel more like a chore than a hobby. Anime songs are starting to sound not as great to me anymore, which is most likely due to me listening to just anime songs for the past few years. Having to force myself to listen to them countless times in order to rank them has become taxing.
Along with me growing up and having more responsibilities, I also do not have as much time to dedicate on this channel anymore. You can argue that I really only upload videos 4 times a year. But during these months, my schedule fills up and becomes unmanageable. Some of you may already know that I am a very indecisive person when it comes to ranking anime openings and endings. I can easily spend hours or even days ranking songs. I can still remember when I made one of my very first videos for this channel āTop 200 Anime Openingsā, and how it took around a couple of weeks to edit, but 2 months to rank haha.
Regarding channel issues ā a hurdle I do not think this channel will be able to overcome, is copyright. For better or worse, the YouTube copyright system has become much stricter than it was in the past. A 10 seconds clip can easily get your video blocked upon upload. The only way to fully avoid it is to limit clips to less than 5 seconds. One of the main purposes of this channel has always been to properly showcase openings and endings, and I believe that 5 seconds is way too short for this. I also cannot afford to waste my time trying to reupload my videos for hours trying to avoid these blocks.
I havenāt really talked about this from what I can remember, but this channel has gotten demonetised a long time ago. This in itself is no big issue for me, as I did not create this channel for monetary gains. It was plainly just my hobby. What I do consider an issue is how easily copyright claims can flood my videos with ads. I wouldnāt mind if it was just a skippable ad during the beginning of the video. But if several ads are being placed throughout the entire video due to a 10 seconds anime song being claimed, then that in my opinion is a problem. I apologise for any inconvenience this has caused to any of you.
Starting the subscribersā version videos was the best decision Iāve made for this channel. It really made me happy to see the participation and excitement from everyone. This is the one thing that Iām going to miss very much from this channel.
Started on the summer of 2014 and ending on the summer of 2020. Thank you very much for these wonderful 6 years.

I understand that I have included anime that have aired this season but have had their episodes delayed. The issue was that I was unable to decide how many episodes of an anime needed to have aired to be allowed in this list e.g. some anime got delayed to next season after ~3 episodes, while others after ~7 episodes. In the end, I've decided to just include all of them, and let you all decide whether to vote for them or not.
