I'm rewatching some 2011 Knockout videos on my channel, and I've gotten to the point of Gail Kim's return.

I've got to say, I think it was a return that only did Gail Kim favours. Don't get me wrong, this isn't Gail Kim slander - I think she was the best women's wrestler of her time, but her return was very damaging to some of the other Knockouts.

1. Obviously the most damaging was Velvet Sky. I'm not really a massive fan of Velvet, but she definitely suffered from this return the most. Regardless of her in-ring ability, she was on a high in 2011 and her momentum was second to none. But after Gail's return, she lost the title in her first defense, and only had one match in her reign, which she also lost and was also against Gail, although that was mostly due to injury. After she lost it, she wasn't in the title picture until April.

2. Madison Rayne. This isn't an obvious one, but Madison definitely suffered. If you look at 2011, Madison goes through a complete character regression. Madison in the first half of 2011 and Madison in the second half of 2011 are two different people. She went from being the Queen bitch of the division, to being a kiss-ass of Karen Jarrett and a sidekick to Gail Kim. And during this time, she had like two clean pinfall victories.

3. Tara. Not necessarily because she lost her Knockouts Tag title to Gail Kim, although you could include that - but if you look at Gail Kim's first match back against Tara, it's an extended squash match. Tara was made to look so incredibly weak. And this is something I don't think companies like WWE and TNA understand - making someone look weak to put over someone else doesn't make anyone look strong, it just makes that person look weak. If they wanted Gail to look strong at the expense of Tara, they could have had an even match, with Gail eventually getting the better of Tara.

4. Winter & Angelina Love. I'm not really a fan of Winter, but Winter suffered badly. She lost the title, then became a jobber. She was hardly seen after she lost the title and then was released by the company. Angelina Love was also a jobber, but at least she had a few more matches than Winter in early 2012.

Of course, other Knockouts like Rosita & Sarita also suffered, but mostly from a lack of exposure.

By the way, I don't fault Gail Kim at all for this. I fault TNA. I think they booked Gail's return too strongly, and it came at the expense of the others. And I really don't understand why they brought her in as a heel, when the roster was already overflowing with heels. At the time of Gail's return, there were four face wrestlers and Traci, who wasn't really an active wrestler.

Personally, I would have let Winter feud with Velvet to finish off the Winter-Velvet-Angelina feud for good, and give Velvet a successful defense. Maybe Gail could have returned as a face to even the odds, and then be inserted into the title picture.

What do you guys think?

So two polls have gotten two different answers?
Let's put this poll to bed and narrow it down to the two most popular answers to get a conclusive answer.

Reupload of a previous post - what's your favourite incarnation of The Beautiful People?

There are two other incarnations that I can't fit:
- Angelina Love, Velvet Sky & Lacey Von Erich.
-Velvet Sky & Madison Rayne.

If either of those are your favourite incarnation - comment it!

I know most of you remember the legendary Mickie-Trish feud back in 2006. Just before Mickie James' heel turn, the match in which she was supposed to turn heel was originally planned to be Trish and Torrie vs. Victoria and Candice, but obviously Torrie was taken out before the match and couldn't compete.

Do you guys think that it was Victoria and Candice who attacked Torrie, like WWE seemingly made it look like? Or, do you think it was actually Mickie James so that she could take Torrie Wilson's place in the match?

Just looked at the comments from the Beth/Nikki match that WWE uploaded and it was interesting to see people's takes on who should have ended Beth's reign.

I saw Tamina thrown around a lot.

Personally, I think that if it wasn't Kharma, like originally planned, there was no good reason as to why it shouldn't have been Natalya. Who do you guys think should have been the one to end Beth's reign?

I have never in my life hated a Royal Rumble more than I just did.

How do you have:

Michelle McCool
Melina
Mickie James
Summer Rae
The Bella Twins (even though I don't even like them that much)
Kelly Kelly
Lita

And still manage to flop a Rumble so hard? After Sasha and Naomi were gone, I had no hopes for this match. Don't even get me started on Ronda's predictable return and Charlotte being in the final two with her. I'm so tired of WWE.

I've just noticed something - everytime Angelina Love returns to TNA, she ends up beating Madison Rayne in her first match back.

When she returned in 2010, she beat Madison Rayne.

When she returned in 2014, she beat Madison Rayne.

When she returned in 2017, she beat Madison Rayne.

I am so disheartened to have just found out about the passing of Daffney. She deserved so much better, in ring and out of ring. Without a doubt, one of, if not, the greatest Knockout to have never held the Knockouts Championship.

Mental health issues are never a joke. If you know someone's who struggling, or if you are struggling yourself, please talk to somebody.

Rest in peace to the Scream Queen, Daffney.
