I havenยดt. For what Iยดve heard theyยดre like DCยดs Star Trek in terms of how the stories are told and the level of writting.
...the little I know of them is when they show up in animation or live action TV series like Smallville.
Another thing is that thereยดs no jumping on point. I mean, I guess you can skip the very old first runs but other than that you canยดt just start reading. As, even with so many reboots in DC the Legion of Superheroes continuity stays the same.
Iยดm very interested but, because of those complications, I cant give it a try.
Iยดd wish that DC would collect all the runsand that theyยดd do something with it. New comics and a Max series.
@justicierodelaliga - I donยดt get the pople that complain because McFarlane includes stands. First, theyยดre there basically for free so, why it has to bother you? Second, if you donยดt want to use it just donยดt. "Figures have to stand on their own". Of course, but what if they donยดt? Or what if they become loose over time? Then you have stand for that. Also, stands arenยดt just to secure your figure but to be able to pose it in dinamic stands.

@carlgibson285 - Back in the 90s Wizard magazine had a contest to redesign Superman's costume, and Future State Jon Kent's costume is almost identical to the design I submitted. I assume it's just a coincidence though since I doubt anyone at DC ever saw my design (it never saw print in Wizard because I came nowhere close to winning the contest).

@Robert-nu4vc - I had one of these as a kid back when they came out in 1989, but someone stole it years later. I ordered one from Mercari a few years ago, and it was loose without the package. The mailman actually ran the bubble mailer over. The package had tire tracks on it and was ripped open, but the Freddy figure was completely undamaged, haha! These things are built to last.

@shaggy791 - I want this, but Iโm having a hard time justifying spending $40 on it when it only has 10 prank calls with it. I feel like I would get bored with it so quickly. Jakks should have included ALL of the shows prank calls, that way you wouldnโt cycle through them as fast, and it would have more replayability, as there would be more content. It just seems like a weird decision on the companyโs behalf. I did order the evil Krusty doll as that felt more iconic and I think serves as a better item for a Simpsons fan. Once again, it really does come down to content.
@user-Monke556 - I like the Johnny Cash ring of fire reference and the review was great. Honestly though I get where your coming from with how you dislike that skeletor head sculpt but for me? I donโt minds it,in my opinion it matches him pretty well but I men thatโs my opinion.

@ArtJohnson-c1y - How is her name Elizabeth because in Shrek 2 donkey drinks the happily ever after potion he ends up passing out and says I'm coming Elizabeth. But that was a reference to Sanford and Son not dragons name. Has any of the animators said he was talking about dragon. Because if not her name is just Dragon.
@mitchell7309 - I think the one more goofier expression is based on the 1933 original and I think the other more modern looking ferocious one is kind of a loose adaptation of skull Island or their own unique artist interpretation since itโs public property now

My dad bought me that action figure when I was a child and now that I actually watched the movie I want to put it back on my shelve but I lost the upper section of his spear and his mask broke which wouldnโt be a problem to glue back if I hadnโt lost the strap, so does anybody know where I can buy just a new mask and spear?

@mitchell7309 - No youโre not alone, his mongloid tree trunk neck made him a very intimidating silhouette. I prefer this one to the modern ultimate figure. Neca struggles with cheap joints and their paint application, I like the more static figure with a little bit of articulation, but not enough that it could harm the figure itself being overly articulated like their modern product. I also donโt need horror icons with a lot of articulation. Theyโre not action heroes. Sidebar the wrap head was a great noun to part two while visually updating it and making it actually intimidating looking and not goofy. I sincerely think he shouldโve just wore it like that the entire movie.

@LogzKe - They did this to Starfire too face-purple-sweating the platinum share the same figure mold and accessories but painted it different to look like her older sister Blackfire. If they gonna do that why not make the box name and card different. I'm wondering how they think/discuss there over in Mcfarlane toys. ๐ฎโ๐จ
@jjoeyoky62575 - That's very unfortunate about the sizing, I'm tempted to try to pick one up and customize it, wondering if you ever figured everything out November 2024. Got to look into it and see if anyone else made another one like a third party or something that's the right size

But unfortunately he's basically a statue like the early Movie Maniacs and Neca Cult Classics era figures where the details are incredible but little if any articulation
