Earlier today, we hit 1,000 subscribers! I wanted to thank everyone who has subscribed to the channel, left a like or a comment, or even bothered to watch any of my videos. It really means a lot to me, and I appreciate all of you immensely.

I don't do YouTube professionally, and I likely never will; this channel is more a creative outlet for me than anything else, a place to talk about some random Transformers stuff that I find interesting. I've got a bunch of video ideas in mind, and I hope that you all stick with me as we move into the future. I know my upload schedule is pretty sporadic and inconsistent, so going forward, I want to try rectifying that and make content more regularly.

Once again, thank you all for 1,000 subscribers. You're the best!

Hey everyone!

I wanted to make this my first community post because, well, I think accountability and transparency are important.

My recent video, “The Secret Sequel to the 1986 Transformers Movie,” received some criticism for its misleading and clickbait-y title. In hindsight, I recognize that, yes, this is indeed problematic.

I want to clear some things up about this. Firstly, when I uploaded this video, I wasn’t aware of the original draft of the 1986 movie, which only became public knowledge about a month later. Obviously, the title of the video wasn’t intended to capitalize on that. I chose it because, well, I thought it was kinda clever.

Secondly, my channel is not currently monetized, and I did not profit from this video in any way. If I do make the decision to monetize my channel in the future, then I will deliberately NOT monetize this video. In that situation, that’s what I think is the fairest course of action.

With all that being said, though, I don’t think it makes any sense to change the title of the video now. The damage has already been done, and changing it now would amount to a meaningless gesture considering that the video seems to have fallen out of the algorithm’s favor.

Going forward, however, is different. I want to make things right, and as such, I intend for all future video titles to be completely straightforward, forthright, and honest.

Basically, this won’t happen again. You can quote me on that.
