I've edited the last few posts. We should pray for the salvation of sinners before any death penalties are rolled out. Sin has consequences, and the law is meant to reward good and punish evil according to Romans 13; but it is because of those consequences we should pray for the perpetrators' salvation before it's too late to ask God for forgiveness. Not only is it what Charlie Kirk would've wanted, it's simply the right thing to do. I still maintain that we should pray for justice. But justice and mercy met when Jesus died on the cross for our sins. Let us put off hypocrisy from our lives and pray for people's hearts to be changed and souls to be saved.
Please forgive me for being short-sighted with my initial posts.

I'm not becoming a news channel, but there was another shooting today. Literally on 9/11.
You cannot rely on people to be decent human beings. You have to depend on God because we have all sinned. We've all fallen short. Without God, we devolve into hatred, becoming like the very people we despise.
We are not guaranteed our next breath. Jesus died for your sins, was buried, and rose again the third day according to the Scriptures. I can't make you believe it, but I can guarantee that God will forgive you of your sins if you simply believe Him. Use the faith that He gave you to trust Him, not somebody else. God wants to restore you to spiritual health. Believe on His Son Jesus before it's too late.

I didn't find out until last night, but Charlie Kirk was not the only life tragically lost yesterday. In Colorado, two students were shot and killed, and then the shooter killed himself afterwards. There was also a young woman stabbed to death earlier this week.
All the same prayers I mentioned related to Charlie Kirk (family, witnesses, and justice if there is no repentance from the murderers) are needed here as well. Sin is in the world. I pray that none of us would look at the perpetrator and say "look how evil they are" without looking at ourselves and saying "I need God's help not to fall any deeper into sin."

For those who don't know because (for obvious reasons) they don't follow the news, Charlie Kirk was shot and killed at a Utah rally today.
God is still in control. But it's because God is in control that we must pray.
Pray for Charlie's family, as a wife is now missing a husband, and her children are now missing a father.
Also, pray for the people who were at the rally as they will likely never be the same after seeing that.
Lastly, pray for God's justice, for only He is the Righteous Judge. Pray that the shooter is found and, if there is no hope for repentance, that he is given the death penalty for his crimes.
Thank you for reading. I pray that God will bless you all and bring you closer to Him, using your lives for something greater than yourself, no matter how short they are or how small you feel.
