I was bored, so I decided to try Titanfall 2 on my Mac. Most of the settings are low, but not disabled, and it’s still playable. The frame rate is very inconsistent but it’s a good experiment to try, I wouldn’t keep it as I have a better way to play.

New Apple devices impressions:
The new Apple Watch is not really too different from my Series 7. I like the better screen, but that’s pretty much it. By the looks of it, the chip doesn’t seem to have been improved so most improvements are software. I can see why they didn’t release an Apple Watch Ultra 3 this year.
I can’t wear in-ear headphones, so it’s a bit of a shame to see the AirPods Max only get USB-C and new colours and not get any of the new features announced.
I’m definitely not upgrading my iPhone 15 Pro for a while, but I do like the new features the 16 series introduced. The battery and thermal improvements are a welcome change. The new Camera Control looks useful, especially since it now allows users to use the camera one-handed and open the app easier. They upped the MagSafe charging speed to 25W and 45W wired which I think is the same as the S24 Ultra so no complaints. I’m hoping the phones don’t feel much bigger in the hand since I like the size of my current phone.
Is it just me, or do the pro phones look like they have more rounded edges?

I just found out something completely useless, but I thought I’d share:
Vector contains a STM32F030 microcontroller, which features an ARM Cortex M0 processor. The Skylanders Portal of Power’s LPC11U24 microcontroller also features the Cortex M0. That’s cool.
Cosmo’s microcontroller is a Kinetis K02, which contains the Cortex M4. But guess what? The Apple Vision Pro’s battery houses a STM32L4A6VG, which also contains a Cortex M4.
I know the ARM Cortex lineup is widely used, but it’s still cool to see them in different consumer devices.
