There's been a lot of new views pouring in over the last little while for my channel which is awesome. Thank you all for the kind words on each of my videos. I'm rather proud knowing I've got a place in your hearts as the "king of shitposting". I've seen several comments asking if I'm making more videos, if I "gave up", or if something happened to me. The short answer is things are all good and I am still alive 😀 but videos stopped for many reasons outlined below. I do plan to make more, but this channel might remain quiet for a little longer.
If you're interested as to why, in no particular order, here are some things that have happened in the last year or so that have caused the upload hiatus (if not, you can skip to the end):
-Moved to a new city. My lovely lady and I were able to buy a home and move into it in March of this year, about an hour away from my hometown. Before we moved in, we had lots of renovations to do. New flooring, painting, and general work all over was done. Basically all of my weekends for the past year were spent going back and forth to do this work, and when we didn't do that, we spent whatever time we could catching up with friends and family from all the lost covid time. We're nicely settled now but forever working on new home projects. Homes do be a lot of work.
-Got a new job. I've been a software engineer for around 5 years now and my previous job was pretty straightforward, which gave me plenty of time to think about videos. Last year I started at a new company and it's been far more challenging than my last one. Challenge is good, but it leaves your brain fried after your 9-5 shift, so working on something creative sounds much less fun.
-Lack of creativity. I only really like to make videos that I think are really going to get laughs. I found even a few of my last videos weren't really up to standard in terms of them being "good ideas", and trying to keep to an upload schedule was really tough. Almost felt like I was in school trying to submit a project by the deadline. So, I decided on only making the videos that I thought were "winning" ideas. My latest video, was my last "awesome idea" and since then I've written down a few concepts I think are pretty good, but sometimes the creative juices just dry up for a while.
-Other creative outlets / hobbies. I try to pursue game development on the side which is obviously very time consuming and challenging in its own right. I don't plan to put anything I develop here (because there is no final product lol), so don't worry, this channel will remain strictly for high-level shitposts. I'm also forever getting into new hobbies and games so staying dedicated to making videos is difficult.
This last one is just something I'm growing to accept, but it definitely pisses me off that most of, if not all of my videos get reposted to TikTok effortlessly, with no real method of preventing it. It has helped the channel grow quite a bit, but only a small percentage of views actually get redirected here. I did the math around a year ago and the total views on TikTok alone that I could find were somewhere around 100 million+, whether through straight reposts, reactions, or other nonsense. But hey, that's where we are at right now with the state of TikTok, YouTube, Insta, etc. It's all compilation channels and accounts that get rewarded for "finding" (a.k.a. "stealing") content instead of creating it. I don't care about the money (this channel brings in a tiny amount in ad revenue every few months), but seeing a "WHO DID THIS 😭😭😭" TikTok with 5 million views and my handle cropped out does make me die inside a little. But enough about THAT...
This channel just started as a fun way to put together shitposts and learn editing techniques. I didn't really expect the crazy amount of views to pour in on some of the videos, and although it's clearly suprassed my expectations in popularity and support, it is still going to come second to whatever's going on in my life. Having said that I am extremely happy that I've made this channel and it's been an awesome experience so far. Looking forward to seeing how it grows when I make more videos, and looking forward to getting some more cheap laughs out of you all.
Anyway, thanks for reading my little update. I hope to find some time to work on more videos soon, but can't guarantee anything just yet.
TLDR; I am alive, life has gotten busy, love to make these videos but they are not my top priority at the moment. Thanks for sticking around, more videos to come (but not right now).

Hey folks, no video this Friday because I've been busy with some other things. It's in the works though, should be coming next week.
