I am so grateful for the Singers that have inspired my path!! When I was a little girl I held a brush in my hand and belted out as loud as my little lungs could sing. I would try and impersonate Mariah Carey. When I watched her sing, I knew that's what I wanted to do! There are so many others that had an influence on my music, which I am incredibly grateful for.
I have had the privilege of seeing Celine Dion in Concert (one of which was in the Colosseum in Las Vegas) I pretty much cried through the whole thing!!! She is simply the BEST!! Thank you to Leona Lewis, Alicia Keys, of course Whitney Houston for inspiring me. Thank you Sara Bareillis, Sarah McLachlan, Faith Hill, Christina Aguilera.
ENYA, was actually a HUGE influence for me musically and vocally. Growing up, her music was almost a constant.
Thank you Adele for your music that took the world by storm! Other female singers I'd like to thank are Shania Twain, Carrie Underwood, Aretha Franklin, Roberta Flack.
Where would this world be without JEWEL?? Who doesn't love her and the charm of her voice?
Of course as a little girl I was also listening to Paula Abdul and Sheena Easton, Vanessa Williams and Dido. I love listening to the whimsical musings that is Celtic Women, in fact I own a dvd of one of their tours that I have watched countless times! Not to mention, Lauryn Hill, Colbie Caillat, Norah Jones and the ever so talented INCREDIBLE one and only Barbra Streisand. Thank you for all the music - Gloria Estefan, LeAnn Rimes and Toni Braxton, Jessica Simpson, Gwen Stefani. You know I've sung along with many Taylor Swift songs on the radio. Thanks to Dianna Ross, Rihanna, Beyonce and her huge belting voice! Ariana Grande, and Aurora.
