Hey all - first video in the Fundamentals of Sequencing series will be out tomorrow!
This one dives into the phasor~ object, which generates a looping ramp that we use as a source of time. This is the root of every sequencing patch I make.
This video also includes a little bit of "theory" on why I think ramp-based clocks are better than the pulse-based ones that you commonly see in modular synths, with MIDI and with metro-based clocks in Max.
A separate update is that several of the most recent videos now have chapter markers to make them a little easier to navigate.
