In case y'all didn't know, we have a membership option for our CS YouTube. It's just a way to support us and what we do. It's only $2.99/month and helps us continue producing quality live shows, and continue feeding this YouTube page with new content. We know a lot of people are going through it, so just continuing to watch and share our content is a huge help. But for those who can, if we got just 1% of our subscribers to join, it would make a huge difference. We appreciate your support! youtube.com/channel/UCv8G-xZ_BBGufjbN6jbvLMQ/join

Ok fam! So we heard what y'all said and we're working on a new show where we feature our 1st Impressions comedians. In addition to those already booked way in advance for those spots, we're also going to add one more comedian for a 5 minute spot. This is for the comedian that comes to the show and hangs out every week hoping for a cancelation, telling us to give them a chance and that they're the next big thing. In short, they think they're the most talented, undiscovered comedian out right now. We need a name for that spot. We were calling it the "cherry picked" spot - a play on our Chocolate Sundaes name - but someone told us that sounds racist. LOL! So let us know if you have any suggestions. Thank you in advance!

The beginning portion of every Chocolate Sundaes show is called First Impressions and it's a 3 minute spot that anybody can sign up for. Some comedians are new to comedy, some are veterans that just haven't hit the Chocolate Sundaes stage before. Other clubs have certain requirements for their Open Mics, but we open ours to anybody; you just have to sign up. Because of that, our waiting list is really long. Like 7 years long.
ANYWAY! Are y'all interested in seeing these sets? We're thinking about starting another channel and featuring these up and coming comedians. Let us know!

Other than the superstars (Dave Chappelle, Kevin Hart, etc), who is someone you haven't seen on our channel that you'd like to see? (BTW - some may have done our show and just didn't want their content on the internet). But let us know!

What was the last stand up comedy show that you went to? Did you enjoy it? What did you like (or didn't like) about it? Did they do anything different than what you expected? Was it a traditional stand up show?

hey yo! we had RiRi and ASAP pull up to the show last night. Unfortunately, they didn't want any pictures taken, so you'll just have to take our word for it. They were super low key, hung out til the end, and were having a good time laughing with us. As a HUGE Rihanna fan, Keera on our team may or may not have been freaking out. 😂

This Sunday, we had the pleasure of having Bassem Youssef on our show. He didn't want any of his clips out yet but we wanted to give him a shoutout for hitting our stage.
if you aren't familiar with Bassem, here's the intro from his Wikipedia page:
Bassem Raafat Mohamed Youssef is an Egyptian-American comedian, television host, and former surgeon. Beginning his career with The B+ Show (2011), which was inspired by his experiences during the 2011 Egyptian Revolution, he later rose to prominence as the host of El Bernameg (2011–2014), a satirical comedy show focused on Egyptian politics. In 2015, Youssef hosted the 43rd International Emmy Awards in New York City.
In 2013, Youssef was named on the Time 100 and on Foreign Policy's 100 Leading Global Thinkers. His life and career were profiled in the 2017 American documentary film Tickling Giants, and he also authored the book Revolution For Dummies that same year. In 2023, Youssef drew international media attention after engaging in a virtual interview on the British talk show Piers Morgan Uncensored to discuss the October 7 Hamas-led attack on Israel and the ensuing Gaza war in the context of the broader Israeli–Palestinian conflict.

So our producer, Lani posted a video to her IG story a couple weeks ago of the staff playing Bingo. She made a custom Hack Joke Bingo card. The comedians thought it was hilarious! So we're going to do it again. Can you give us some ideas of what we should put on the card? Here were some of what was listed last time:
Trump Joke
Biden Joke
"Give it up for..."
Music isn't what it used to be
Broke men have the best d*ck
Getting old / body breaking down
Got hit on by a gay guy / lesbian
Eyelashes being too long
White people don't age well
Gray pubes
Diddy joke
Prostate exam
Anything Covid related
We also threw in some other stuff that may happen at a show like:
Takes drink on stage
Bangs the wall
Bangs the mic
DJ plays "not like us"
Keera's bag drops
Audience member drops drink / glass breaks
Give us your suggestions! Thank you in advance!
