I'd like to share Roads Home YouTube video with you all (and Lincolns historical campervan/motorhome fire related event list below)... It's worth a watch! (So please do so and show your support!) Regarding the piss-poor excuses that the councils are coming up with to implement campervan/motorhome overnight sleeping bans. Also! Where is your money going, and to whom within Scotland?

Unfortunately, Mark was unable to obtain the FOI request from the City of Lincoln Council regarding 'thermal events' involving campervans/motorhomes.

However! I do have a list going back 10 years regarding 'thermal events relating to campervans & motorhomes within the Lincoln area'. As we have gathered, councils like to use this as one of their excuses 'the Fire Hazard rule' ( an 1960s campsite 6 metre rule ) to implement overnight sleeping bans within their carparks

Historically, within the Lincoln area, it just involves caravans! Except for one unfortunate event, an campervan/motorhome business, so if they did come back with 27 motorhomes within their FOI, it would of been bullshit; as below states, it was contained within the campervan/motorhome business premises (almost) over 10 years ago!

NONE OF WHICH WERE IN PUBLIC CARPARKS 🤔...

Caravan fire on Browning Drive

On March 17, 2014, firefighters from Lincoln North and Lincoln South extinguished a caravan fire on Browning Drive. The caravan was completely destroyed, but no one was reported injured.

Camper UK fire

On January 25, 2014, a fire severely damaged the Camper UK motorhome dealership in North Hykeham. The fire destroyed 27 motorhomes, customer records, and specialist tools and spares valued at £250,000. The cause of the fire was undetermined.

Caravan arson

On July 30, 2014, a caravan fire was believed to be deliberately set and spread to damage two flats. Police investigated the incident as arson and increased their presence in the area.

Caravan fire that killed a dog and tortoise

In November 2017, fire crews responded to a caravan fire that killed a dog and tortoise.

Caravan fire suspected to be arson

In February 2018, a caravan was gutted in a suspected arson fire.

Regarding Lincoln Motorhome / Campervan ' Overnight stay Ban'.
Can anyone local to Lincoln make alternative suggestions for an overnight location for Motorhomes / Campervans within Lincoln please? I'm thinking the overflow carpark in Tentercroft street car park ( behind the train station, city centre ), before I reply back to Councillor Wells. Cheers.

Was it worth tilting the 'solar panel'? ( Screenshot taken around 09:00hrs 3rd November) Absolutely!

Of course, this is in a moment of time, and it's the yield results that count, but seeing a 10 x solar harvest improvement from 0° to a 45° tilt angle was encouraging 👌👍..

I'm back on with the 'Van Rebuild' next week 😉👌👍. Progress upon the van had to pause in order to carry out a few over jobs around the house over the summer.
Meanwhile! I am currently enjoying a two week break with Dawn, our first one in three years 🫡.....
