After nearly a year of being brought home on a flatbed with a blown up L48. The LS swapped C3 ventured on its first shakedown run to my Dads.
Made it out and back with no issues and without a check engine light š

The Axys moved on to its new owner this morning. I rode this sled for 5 years and without a doubt was the best sled Iāve owned.
Many miles and even more memories were made on this sled. Tough to see it go but itās going to a great home.
Time to move over to a new platform. New sled has already been purchased and will be delivered this week.

I guess Iām a SKIDOO guy now.
As Iāve mentioned before. Always support your clubs, you never know when itās going to pay off.
I was the lucky winner of this 2024 MXZ 600 EFI 137ā from the annual Colebrook Ski-Bees sled raffle.

The engine has been pulled.
I would like to say I had it out in a day, but in reality it took me 2 weeks due to blowing out my back the week of Thanksgiving.
Next step is to clean up the engine bay and drop in the LS hopefully in the next couple of weeks.

Iām far from being a welder. Since on average I weld every 6 months.
Regardless, my lack of skill still managed to make some booger welds strong enough to get this broken exhaust stud from the head.
Next project - Bridge buildingā¦

Sorry to say that I donāt have a final video on Project Blue Balls.
Engine was installed and ran great on the stand. I then lowered it off the stand and thatās where I ran into issues.
The engine wouldnāt fire. Everything checked out. Fuel, spark and 125 PSI in each cylinder.
On Saturday, I completely went through everything 2x and still couldnāt resolve the issue. Engine would eventually fire but would barely idle.
On Sunday, thinking it was bad fuel. The tank and lines were drained. No change.
At this point I loaded it up on the trailer and headed down to Edges and Wedges headquarters in CT
Thinking it was the aftermarket CDI. We replaced it with a Polaris OEM and she fired up on the first pull was and running great once again.
With all of troubleshooting and running around I didnāt make a video.
The sled has been posted for sale on the Edges and Wedges page on Facebook in case anyone is interested.
Thanks everyone.
